But I love the way Pochettino has slowly (something I and many have struggled with) created a great football team AND the way Daniel Levy sought out another manager given his relatively disappointing history in doing so and the way in which he appears to have trusted his manager with the transfer policy.

Credit to both.

And finally: another key assist by Lamela, the player who quite a few were adamant was rubbish; another pivotal goal by Eriksen who many have thought has been quiet and poor this season and what an unbelievable save (again) by Hugo Lloris. Out of this world and as important as Kane and Eriksen's goals today.

What really impressed me when Eric nutmegged Kompany for that pass through to Christian was how knackered the citeh defense all looked and Kompany simply could not keep up with him.

Great pass, don't underestimate the take and finish by Eriksen, good players make the difficult look easy and that was not easy.

Henry has just tipped us for the title over Arsenal.

Despite the several beatings he's handed us and the fact that he's about as red as they come, I have a lot of respect for his punditry. He's actually been quite balanced and, I recall when we were 1-0 up against them earlier in the season was really honest about the fact that we were by far the better team.

Either way, still a lot of tough games to go to get there, but what a match. COYS

I injured my back celebrating the Eriksen goal. I'm currently lying down prostrate, occasionally letting out a low, agonised groan, but it was so worth it.

That was an iconic goal right up there with Crouchy's that guaranteed top 4 under Arry. This one has had the same effect and may yet lead to something greater.

A special word for Lamela, I've lost faith in him of late but today he provided a moment of high class, match winning quality in the most important game many of these players have experienced. Fair play Eric, keep it up you lovely fucker.
