But that indicates Levy is paying his salary from today. If he doesn't start until 1 July Levy actually save one months worth of a salary. 😆

Always had a sneaky suspicion that was one of the reasons he'd only buy a player at 11.59 on deadline day.

I might have to tell Ladbrokes, not sure they'll give a shit though
I imagine plenty of people will already be in contact, but would do no harm all the same.

In fairness to Paddy Power, they are the best when it comes to these type scenarios. Often give the punter the benefit of the doubt.

Presume the lack of any quotes for us is down to him wanting to leave Celtic on great terms?

I believe Australian income tax/tax has something specific to July 1. Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised if the board dictates new season as July 1.

Does anyone think he's not going to be giving input prior to July 1st? That'll just be his official start date.

While Ange is on the beach he can ponder his shopping list for next season and the first team squad.
Looks like you to have have a maximum of seventeen non home grown and the rest home grown in the 25 man PL squad.
At the moment our home grown list of the current squad is Harry, Sess, Forster, Tanganga, Davies, Austin, Whiteman & Skipp. Whiteman just there really to make up the numbers.

There is talk of Ben going and if Harry did leave that reduces our home grown list , four home grown to come back , Winksy , Rodon, Spence & White but apart from possibly Spence will the others be kept.
Looks like a bit of a juggling act for Ange on the home grown list , we have Devine & Scarlett who could go on the home growns , will he give youth a chance.

Ange united a good part of the fanbase just by what he said in old interviews and videos. Im so hyped for what he has to say in his first interview as spurs manager

Postecoglou addressed the fact there was a mixed response to his appointment as Celtic manager and was also unfazed by the fact a deal for Eddie Howe had fallen through.
"You're assuming I was second choice, I might have been fifth choice, you never know," he said at his unveiling. "It doesn't really bother me. What's important is that I have been given the responsibility and opportunity."

He also dismissed suggestions he was making a "jump" in standard. "I have coached at a World Cup, I have coached against some of the best teams in the world," he said.

He will not be concerned by the reaction to his Tottenham appointment given his total focus and belief in his process.

We have Paratici giving his insight still (apparently), despite him being covered in shit, so no, I don't think the club abides by a July 1st start date when there is so much work to do.

One of the main issues I’ve seen people have with Ange, is his side’s performance in the Champions League.

Yes the results obviously weren’t good, but some of their performances were actually unbelievable.

Watch their first half performance against Real Madrid (who won the champions league outright that year), and tell me that it’s not an exciting performance!

And then to further cement how impressive this performance was, you have to take into account the disparity in standard of players for both teams.

Compare the two team sheets below and the players at their disposal.

I genuinely can’t wait to see what this man can achieve here with a higher standard of player, and a higher level of competition to hone himself in.

With no European football next season, and a lot more time available on the training ground consequently, the opportunity is there to re-work the playing style in a much quicker way than ordinarily. I hope we have made the right appointment to take advantage of that opportunity.

Can someone please make a “to dare is to didgeridoo” banner :p
