After the Arsenal game, they've beaten Watford, Burnley, Hull and West Ham (cup) and lost to Liverpool and Everton.

They'll have to really step up in this one in order to beat us, and it'll be interesting to see how they line up formation wise. Sterling, De Bruyne, Aguero and Silva are good players, but not one of their defenders or deep midfielders that are available for them in this game would get near our side.

They have no other option that trying to pin us back and cause us so many problems defensively that we wont be able to expose their defenders. Think they will very much try to target Wimmer or Davies as much as they can.

I reckon it will be down to wether or not we can keep our nerve and not have one of those games where we play the occation rather than the game and end up freezing.

I can't help but feel we should win, but have to be very cautious. And lets not forget, in all honesty they should have beaten Chelsea. If De Bruyne didn't hit the crossbar with that open goal it was 2-0 and probably game over.

Massive game. Just a shame this falls on the same weekend when there are also the following fixtures

Liverpool v Swansea
Stove v Man Utd
Arsenal v Burnley
Chelsea v hull

Looking possible that the loser of our match might be the only one from the top six to drop points this weekend

Yep, we'll start this game 10 points behind Chelsea in 4th place which makes it a must win. A draw is no good for either team. It will leave us 9 points behind and I don't see Chelsea losing another 3 games this season. City are out of the title race anyway. City will be under immense pressure too, probably starting the game off in 6th place assuming Utd win at Stoke.

Defeat for City will see them 5 points adrift of 4th place assuming Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea win their home games earlier.

We will not win all our remaining matches - That would be something like 23 wins in a row. We could probably hope for 10-13 wins for the rest of the season. If one of those matches we don't win is on Saturday, that would be fine - and if we manage a draw away to City that would be a very decent result.

Chelsea will take as many points as they (hopefully deserve). We cannot influence that. If they end up with 85-90 points, we will probably not be near them...

So my advice would be to not get too carried away - A draw is a good result away to City for any team in the world. A win would be a massive result and statement, but not an something to expect.

Press have just "leaked" (or made up) a story about Aguero wanting to have talks to leave City.

Doing their best to de-stabilise City on the eve of the game.

Fingers cross their team will come in demoralised before the game even kicks off.

Got a ticket for the game tomorrow. Get into Manchester Piccadilly at 12.30pm so got a few hours to kill drinking before the match. Anybody going and know where Spurs will be drinking?

I'm now worried about this game now.

Mate I'm already in the state where I'm shitting myself before every game, to the point where I'm making myself really tired so I can sleep beforehand and wake up right before the game as I can't take the waiting. Already each game is so important because it's so tight at the top.
Last week was a massively encouraging win though because it's those types of games that I could imagine making us fall short, those lacklustre and flat WHL games we tend to have sometimes and against sitting back opposition but if a performance like the recent one is a trend it's a great sign. I'm not too worried about our away games and we've at least given ourselves a good platform to win any of the big games home or away.

This game is about more than football - it's class warfare, a battle between the privelaged who've had it all handed to them on a plate and those who've had to overcome adversity to fight their way to the top.

On one side we have the son of a farmhand, born into poverty who, as a man, a player and a coach, had to graft his way up from humble origins to get to the very top. His opponent is a the son of a football agent, born into affluence with a silver football in his mouth. He went to the best academy, played for one of the richest teams then took over an already successful team as a manager. Guardiola has spent life being a parasite on other people's successes, from Rijkaard to Heynckes. Hailed as a genius for winning trophies when he had some of the world's very best players in his team. Whereas Poch took over a team heading for relegation, on a shoestring budget. He was set up to fail as much as Guardiola was set up to succeed. But he didn't fail. But still he's had to prove himself more, which he has, first at Southampton and now Spurs.

And this battle extends to the clubs. Spurs have had to work their way up, spending the money they make. While City have had oil and gas money pumped into them to pay mercenaries obscene wages to play for and manage them.

We must give hope to the underprivileged people from around the world so they can believe they can make it in life with hard work, dedication and a couple of good breaks. Let's smash these c*****!

I first watched City v Spurs in February 1974 at Maine Road. Me and my mate Del were up there that day I think the fare from Euston to Piccadilly was £3.00 return.

Got there about 11.30 and it was pissing down from the time we arrived, all through the match and afterwards.

As for pre match drinks... In those days it was a little known fact that some supporters clubs had reciprocal
arrangements for supporters, we rolled up at the Man City supporters club and showed them our Spurs Supporters badges
and they welcomed us in.

Had some great banter with the men and women in the club.. One of the highlights was getting a snack ... One guys recommended a 'cheese cob' ... That sounded pretty exotic so I got one from the food counter ... It was a cheese roll LOL.

The match was a desperate miserable 0-0 draw but another of those lifetime experiences.

You do know that while Woolwich was known as the 'Bank of England Club' our beloved Spurs was known as the 'Cheque Book Team' ?
