That is sad. I'd like to say how he was a great keeper for us back in the day, and one of the finest ever to pull on the number 1 shirt for us.

I'd like to, but I can't. He was indeed pants.

But RIP butter fingers.

Gawd, I feel really guilty now for ripping the piss out of him earlier this week.

Great shame to hear of anyone passing away at such a young age - when it is 'one of ours', it makes it even worse - ok, so he wasn't a world-beater, but that shouldn't make any difference

Sad news

Was he one of our trio of top quality keepers during late 70's along with Alexsic and Barry Daines. I was around 10 when I saw him play. Quiet lad as far as I can remember.

Thoughts are with his family. 49 is such a young age to pass away.

Hope you're somewhere better MK. And maybe you'll get to see us win the league. RIP.

I'm nearly 48. I'm getting nervous.

I'll admit to having never heard of him, before my time, but never the less it is sad when anyone dies (releatively) young.

I hope the club does something to honour his death, even if it is just a matter of wearing the black arms.

RIP and condolences to his family and those close to him.

Sad news. Not many players come through the system and get to play in the first team.
RIP Mark

Heart attack after picking his wife up.

http://www.rivals.net/news/pgarticle.aspx?artid=13618_3509621&id=89

Former Wolves keeper Mark Kendall has died at the young age of 49. Mark who was part of the Wolves revival in the late 80's died of a heart attack. He also played for Tottenham Hotspur, , Newport County, Swansea, Ebbw Vale and Cwmbran before retiring at the age of 34
Former colleague Nigel Vaughan said "Mark went for a 12-mile walk round Blackwood near his home yesterday and later went to pick up his wife from a night out. They were chatting in the kitchen at 11pm when Gaynor heard a thud, looked round and Mark was on the floor."
Steve Bull added on the official site "Mark was a good friend, an excellent work colleague and a real joker in the pack. We had a great team spirit in that team at Molineux and he was a massive part of it , a real character. It's a great loss and he will be sadly missed by all that knew him."
Hopefully the club will honour his memory on Sunday with a minutes silence / applause
All Wolves fans thoughts are with his wife and children at this sad time
RIP Mark
