Bentancur was really starting to run things in midfield. Shame he had to go off.

One or two were'nt absolutely poor
Dier, Betancur,Lloris, Davies maybe
but nobody played well enough
to deserve MOM
or to get a higher score than 6

Voted 'None deserved''.
That'll teach 'em

None deserved.

The most predictable result this season. Beat City, then do absolutely nothing against a relegation candidate. Doesn't get any more Spurs than that. I'm just annoyed I forgot to the put the 0-1 bet on I talked about the other day.

Grumpy musings:

- Not being able to play against pressing teams is just (de)pressing. See what I did there.
- Son keeping his head down when he should pass is fucking infuriating.
- We need two wingbacks. One for each side. Sess is a massive let down. Not wasting my time talking about Royal.
- Desperately need a creative midfielder to stop Kane dropping so deep. Or play him deeper and get a fucking finisher. He can't do everything.

Fuck this shit.

We need to play 433. Give us an extra real attacker on the pitch. We had 3 real attackers on the pitch and we are surprised and we didn't score. Most teams will sit back against us and wait for us to give the ball to them.

You give Moura winks and Bergwijn more than Royal? Really? You do know that the ratings are based on this match and not past endeavors? Your dislike for the man seems have warped your sense of reasonableness. I know he can be crap but not today.

Kane was the only one who looked capable of doing anything again the same story when we come up against a team who sit back and let us have the ball. Unfortunately in those situations he can't cross or pass to himself. Absolutely need to bring back Bale so we don't waste Kane for another season.

The look on Kane's face when Son ignored a simple ball to him for a shot on goal - to then run down another blind alley... Kane looked like he wanted to trudge off the pitch, straight to the Etihad.

Always unacceptable to not beat the bottom team of the league.

However

The conditions were horrible, Burnley are ridiculously defensively solid for their level. First 45 mins were horrible, but between 45-70 (then I went to bed) I think we looked okay overall. Obvious problem is the wings, and yesterday Son was dreadful and Kulusevski anonymous. Kane looked really good, but he was back having to play CF, winger, AM and CM at the same time because no one else was doing anything.

I have seen us play far worse this season.

And while he was having his strop with Son he ignored the pretty dangerous ball whipped in by Sess.
