No that would be Sean Gannon of Dundalk. Attacking right back who with a bit of luck would be playing at a much higher level.
Aren’t Dundalk shite again? Looks like Shamrock are the best side now. Dundalk and Cork seem to have fallen of a cliff.

As for Doherty, at the quoted price you can hardly say no.

Savvy purchase, for me. I’d like to see us invest in a young RB to mold (Tavares, maybe?).
I feel like it’s a little weird that more people aren’t happy to have Tanganga as a RB back up. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I think I’m terms of balance between having a very attacking fullback like Doherty, Tanganga is a really solid defender and has the pace and enough ability on the ball to play there comfortably. Maybe I’ve jumped on the hype train too much but I thought he looked incredibly promising before lockdown

Mate I can’t believe what I’m reading. This WolfinSheepsClothing poster is having a full blown midlife crisis over it. I cringe at the thought of us behaving like this when United wanted Berbatov.

If anyone would like to watch a man’s heart break over the course of the day, read this thread and look out for WolfinSheepsClothing

This is incredible. I read all 10 pages, I feel invigorated.

They’re laughing off the reported fee, saying it’s the ‘London centric’ media, why would we sell to a rival, spurs play a back four.
The good news is that plenty of them haven’t figured out how to spell Doherty after 10 years so those of you who write Hodgebajerg and Erricsun can relax

I’m just really confused why he is so cheap considering Wolves don’t need the funds, he’s HG, and has 3 years left in his contract. It makes no sense.

I know it sounds cheap but when you factor in a covid market place it's not that cheap in reality.

It's a good price for us and Wolves are probably thinking longer term.

Just one of those easier deals as it suits everyone.

Even in the COVID market it’s still cheap

yeah I think Doherty as first choice and tanganga, foyth and gedson as understudies is fine.

If Foyth or Tanganga play there then we have the Sessegnon/Cirkin option on the left to switch the attacking full back over.

If we get Doherty for around £15m that's a massively good deal in the current climate and means we've addressed one of our key problems before the start of the season.

On another note what happened to the daily ITK thread?

One thing I find interesting is that, according to the Wolves fans, Doc is often the target of Rui Patricio's long goal kicks, and won many headers as well

I haven't seen much of Doherty but can't be too hard to better defensively than Aurier.

As mush as I prefer Spurs to buy younger in todays football 28 is not really that old anymore. With all the work going into diet and health todays 28 is like 24-25 in the 80's. Besides I feel a good mix of youth and experience will take us further! COYS!

Agreed.

And on your second point, either we’re both banned and can’t see the ITK thread or A&C got bored policing the random formation, squad depth and Ndombele’s belly chat.

If one gets banned from the ITK Forums, they can still access the site (Spurs Chat, General Football etc etc) they just can't see or take part in any of the Transfer Forums or Threads. Not seeing the Daily ITK Thread alone means there isn't one, not because of any ban.

Which reminds me, I had a couple of PM's asking why they've been banned. The answer is, you haven't see above.
