Man Utd would have to pay tens of millions in compo to bring Poch in.

Why spend that money on a relatively inexperienced manager who has never managed in the CL, when you could spend it on Guardiola?

Guardiola to City is done. One of the only times I will ever be ITK

Why go to Utd other than for the money? For all the money they've spent their squad is a joke... full of over hyped and over paid wannabes and has-beens. They've no team spirit, dull to watch and look like 11 strangers on a pitch.

This is the problem with some of our supporters, where others might say we're delusional. ManU is still a massive job and this is the problem were going to get if we don't stand up to the request from our players coaching staff etc.

Probably not worth worrying too much about, but he should be at the top of the list in terms of new contracts offered to anyone at the club though, in my opinion. He's our biggest asset.

He literally talked a few weeks ago about wanting to see new players coming through and that we would be in a good position when he takes us into the new stadium.

Yeah but we can't let little things like facts get in the way of a barrow load of bullshit

Because Guardiola will probably end up at City.

Does his wife and kids want to leave London? At Spurs he can build for the long term and has a better team, his project. What are his long term goals?

I'm pretty realistic when it comes too viewing spurs and where we are in the pecking order. I honestly think that the utd job is a bit of a poisoned chalice at the moment.

I think poch, who is a very shrewd operator will see this as well. Currently he has a perfect set up at spurs with a young team, the club/(most of) the fans all behind him. With none of the insane pressure that comes with the utd job.

If he keeps doing what he is doing he will be able to pick his next move further down the line.

I suppose the natural next step for the Media will be to suggest that Hugo, Harry and Dele will be joining him there. Certainly a nightmare scenario, but we have to trust in Levy and especially Poch himself that he is here for the long term .

I would still like the fans to vocally show their appreciation of Poch , it seems strangely missing from the repetoire of songs and I am sure he would appreciate it . I remember when we played at Southampton last season and he mentioned that we had sung our support of him and how it was the first time and it meant a lot to him, but I haven't noticed it since which, given his popularity, seems very odd.

Perhaps today, given the press reports, would be a good time to start.

This is something I've been saying would happen for months, never expected it until the summer though.

The best thing we could hope for is LVG makes an even bigger mess and gets sacked before the transfer window closes and they bring in someone else. Would love Mourinho personally.

I have no idea whether Poch would or wouldn't consider it - been bitten too many times before to assume that people love Spurs as much as we do - but do think Poch favours young raw talent as opposed to big money signings that Man U would likely buy.....I don't think these would conform to Poch's system or training.

Let's hope.

Encouraging to hear that as I was out with someone last night who's related to an Arsenal board member. He said everyone at the scum is incredibly smug about about how much they've flown under the radar of the Guardiola situation. Said Wenger is retiring at the end of the season and Guardiola is a done deal as his successor.

A lot of it adds up, wenger is in his 20th season, probably going to win the league this season so goes out on a high, Pep going to Arsenal makes a lot more sense than selling out to oil money.

WHAT THE F*** do they actually know? They related this link to him leaving Southampton but that was his first venture in English football he had really 'built' anything and if he had the was the glass ceiling for Saints.
We have the best training ground in Europe and also a new stadium on the way so the perfect platform for success, yes man.u is a huge job but he'd need to spend a good 18months re-building them like he has us when there is certainly much more potential he can get out of this squad for many years to come.

I really can't see him moving those fucktard pundits have pissed me off.
