Vucinic is classy and would provide a good foil for others to play off, but his goalscoring record is a bit of a worry. Basically he scores less than once every three games. This is a fair bit worse than Berbatov, who wasn't far off 1 in 2 for us, and is still far better than 1 in 3 for Man U where he's made a lot more sub appearances.
There is the possibility that if you stick him in the centre all the time he may get a few more goals, and of course if he were to get, say, 12 goals, plus generally provide loads of assists and great hold up play then that's still a vast improvement on what we have. I still think it is a bit of a risk though. So i'm basically on the fence.
Edit: I'm also struggling to think of strikers who've played a long career in Italy and then come over here and made an impact. Can anyone enlighten me?
