I'm assuming Mitchell has been doing his job and has a list of suitable CMs that doesn't start with Schneiderlin and end with Kramer or Imbula.
Be an absolute disaster if we don't bring in a suitable CM this summer.
A lot of pressure seems to be being put on Mitchell a la Baldini 2013... No doubt it'll be similar story of blame if the transfers don't live up to the unrealistic expectations of spurs fans.

i think you lot need to chill, Schneiderlin isnt going until Saints sort out his replacement. Yes they have agreed he can leave but they are involved with a few players coming in.

Yes, bought the highly rated youngster Gomez from Charlton for £3.5m.

Regardless of whether the Liverpool squad gels, the worrying thing is they've multiple options all over the place whereas we don't. Lose Kane to injury and we're screwed.
Same fucking shit was said last year, hell you might have even been saying it.

It's not our job to worry about what Liverpool are doing, we need to worry about our own and that's it.

Tbh, if we have really missed out, I would rather its to United than Arse.. we came so late to the Saints buffet last season and are paying the price for it now..

That is the downside to the way we do business its too slow and frustrating we probably could have got him last year if we had been quicker and not allowed Liverpool the whole summer to pick and choose.

Taking my spurs heart off this transfer, if you are a footballer, which club will you go for. Double your wages, global name, top 4 side.

I think the Morgan boat has sailed, its disappointing but these things happen.

I know we have a ceiling when it comes to wages and signing fee, but we have to up our bracket as times have moved.

these days a 15m player cost 5m years ago. Top quality first team players will cost 20m upwards and wages of 80k. Then as a club without cl football, you need to pay slightly higher than market rate

We have precisely no idea what we have done or going to do because the club has to bat smart and ensure that business is conducted in the most incredibly clandestine manner. I imagine that football clubs nowadays are sensitive to social media and recognise that negotiations have to be controlled as much as possible to protect their dealings. What we hear through mediums like Twitter and fan message-boards are rarely accurate and certainly don't portray the full picture.

I suppose that's the bonus, if he goes to Arsenal or Man U he'll probably end up crocked anyway.

Alex Goring is a muppet who reports newspaper stories as his own. The one with reliable Saints info is Simon Peach.

But its Manchester. I'd rather Mordor.

Just to think that we would have signed MS last summer and were all set to do so until Arsenal came along and pinched Chambers.

I wonder if we would have made top 4 last season, considering we were only 6 points off it, had we managed to do this deal then.

Fucking Arsenal.
