So you want us to develop a youth player by playing him in a postion he is completely unsuited or because you don't rate Sissoko?
That depends on how you define developing. Having your path to the senior squad being blocked by Sissoko must do wonders for the motivation if an offer comes in.

He could do a good job for alot of bottom clubs who are always on the back foot in games.
Surprised no one has put in a cheeky offer of 10 to 12 million.

But we aren't exactly blessed with options in midfield. And we certainly aren't spending big money to buy quality...so unless we were to bring onomah back and play him regularly which we aren't then I'm happy for him to stay

I think Fat Sam and Poch wouldn't mind Sissoko for Schneiderlin. I can only see a French club coming in for him for 12m or so

You mean swap Sissoko for Morgan? Sam is many things but he isn't completely devoid of brains. Morgan is 10.times the cm Sissoko will.never be. Nice fantasy though!

Everton fans don't like him, Spurs fans don't really like Sissoko. Fat Sam can get Sissoko's career back on track and Poch can get the man he wanted a few years back.

Saying all that though it's just some excuse to get rid of Sissoko :ROFLMAO:

That depends on how you define sensible.

That depends on how you defend playing.

That depends on how you define developing.

That depends on how you define desperate.

Depends on how you define making sense.

Depends on how you define blocking.

How do you define repetitious spam? Does it depend on something?

The only way I'd see him moving is if someone offered to better his wages, which lets face it, they won't.
All this talk about 'we should accept 12m from one of the bottom teams' is pointless as he's got to agree to the move, and why would he move when he's on £90kpw and getting regular games in a World Cup year.

So I am been trying to get my head around this player. Poch does seem to have used him a lot so why? Well he seems physically fit, willing to play in a number of positions and play to orders. We have missed the presence of Wanyama and a fit Dembele so is he there to add to power in the middle?
Now here is a speculative bit of thinking from me. In most games we play teams park the bus making it hard for us to break them down so the last twenty minutes become crucial in winning losing games as we rarely seem to get a flying start because of the packed defences we face. Add to this Chelsea have discovered that doing this for 60-70 minutes to draw our sting and then put on their creative attacking players at the end like Hazard, Willian, Pedro & Fabregas has caused us problems. So is Poch thinking of doing the same; that is hold back some of our best players for the last twenty/thirty minutes. Start the likes of Sissoko, Dier etc., to keep the game tight but then replace them near the end with players like Son, Dele, Lamela who can find more space late in games.
Anyway obviously I am bored today and got thinking about how Chelsea played against us in the cup last year and at Wembley this year and thought about how the games have gone at home against most teams
