My choice would be VDV, however Kaboul was hinting at having some news for the fans that wasn't transfer related.

Kaboul or Vengthorn. Followed by VDV or Parker. But it should be someone young to fit in-line with our long-term plans, Kaboul is what 25? Many years ahead of him, guarenteed starter when fit, knows the club, I think he should get it with VDV as vice.

Dawson would be the obvious choice, maybe Gallas, I don't think it could be VDV since I don't think he may be finishing 90 mins, especially if sigurdsson is on the bench as an impact sub.

I really have no idea, we don't have any obvious leaders in the team who are going to start every game, if modric was staying then it would have to be either him or daws.

Van der Vaart would be a great captain. Dedicated, hard working, and obviously well liked by the other players.

I think it should really be between Kaboul and VDV. VDV would make a fantastic captain.

The problem with making Parker captain would be the fact that captains tend to be automatic starters when fit, and I suspect Parker would be rotated with Sandro throughout the season.
