When teams come to our ground we don’t see X v the atmosphere, we see X v a struggling side lol

Newcastle may now have a sugar daddy but they’re still shit and barring a miraculous turn around they could be the first sugar daddy club to get relegated ?

Which is exactly why anything less then a win will be an awful result, despite the ready made excuses some will have no doubt

The Newcastle takeover is still sinking in for me. I genuinely have no idea where we are going to be in 4/5 years time with Liverpool, Chelsea, Utd, City and now Newcastle all ahead of us financially. Yup guess I’m just feeling apathetic because of everything that’s been going on recently but I guess it’s what Ginola and Dyer where just saying on Sky, it’s all well and good having a world class stadium and world class training facility but unless you can buy the players to match then your not going to reach the top, now Newcastle can so it’s only a matter of time before they move past Spurs.

Dyer was spot on Spurs buy players who have talent, Newcastle can now just buy players who make the difference day one.

Yes indeed world class stadium, training ground and prices but unfortunately housing Aldi products and mentality.
Ex players, agents the media all know that Tottenham are a fur coat and no knickers club, no wonder they all laugh at us Newcastle will indeed surpass us very soon.

No excuses today. With the games coming up Really three points is a must. Take over or not Newcastle are still the same poor team they were before the take over.

Theyll be up for it so we need an early goal.

Listening to the geordies speak in the bars before this game it’s like a cup final for them! They are talking of sleepless nights and nerves!

just need to ride out the first 20 minutes which I’m sure they will come at us then impose our superiority on them.

You don’t believe all this crap do you. Newcastle will buy solid pl players to get them up in the top half by the end of next season, then they can start to buy better quality.
It is a much different landscape to what Chelsea encountered and Man City later on. Neither of those teams needed about 17 players or were near the bottom of the league.
They will also get well stitched up when bidding for players.
Chelsea and City were not faced with 4 top clubs , 3 of whom with virtually unlimited money.(Liverpool the odd one out but hardly paupers)
Players they might go for are probably those coming to the end of their contract and those who cannot get a game. Lingaard, Tarkowski, Winks, Doherty, Alli. How good would that be.
Don’t see the likes of Sterling and Rudiger wanting to go there. Won’t get to CL for at least 3 or 4 seasons, if ever.
Everton have spent almost 500m in 4 years since Moshiri arrived.
Utd over 400m since Ole took over.
They might have a lot more money than the rest but they are not going to spend it all on football.
