I get and understand the patience but, really do. But Jesus wept, we are making stupid mistakes that have nothing to do with a project. It’s basic errors and we see them more than we don’t. And also, where is the passion?? Where is the will to go toe to toe with these guys and match them?? And Ange has to take responsibility also and I have seen it said here many times and I agree, his stubbornness is hurting us at times. Pivot slightly man.
We need to be much smarter tactically.

I’m honestly completely sick of not changing or tweaking our tactics depending on who we play. Howe has played a blinder and completely out coached Ange today imo. He knew we’d keep Werner and Johnson high and wide no matter what and he’s overloading udogie and porro. Werner and Johnson are offering no help and Howe knew it.
not the first team doing that either.

Interesting on playback for both their goals Romero at fault
You’re right, he wasn’t brilliant. Don’t think anyone would expect such a weak tackle from Udogie for the first and the Porro brain fart for the second to be fair.

You can’t be successful playing this system , we are totally reliant on last ditch VDV challenges and if he is off it then we’re in trouble , we are the opposite of compact and the worry is , like at Fulham - Ange just standing there with hands in his pockets watching this sh/t show unfold .
Ange has to have the chops to change it up but it's the stubborn 'we'll continue to play this way no matter what' bollocks that infuriates me. And the football hasn't exactly been fucking swashbuckling has it! Bring me a defensive 1-0 win any day over this.

One thing, can Ange motivate the players?

We’ve been shite for months, and we start every game fucking crap. How is it the same week after week?

I have my doubts
Don't worry, I'm sure that the "next manager thread" will be open soon enough. Might as well keep the f*cker pinned to the top with the way some fans are.

Love your positive outlook mate.

The worry I have is whilst player quality will improve and we will hopefully create more chances and chances of a better quality. We give up far too many good chances for opposition, 2v2 and 3v3. This isn't sustainable IMO, the opening 11 games were excellent but since then teams have adapted to us and we look toothless but still give up periods in games where teams get plenty of good chances.

I think for the system to work in of our fullbacks needs to sit on and give us a 3-3-4 shape in possession as opposed to the current 2-3-5.

Ad you say some really worrying games coming up against the big 3. Could be brutal with our current performance levels.
Completely fair enough mate, it’s a tricky one as no guarantee that with better players it’ll be successful but I see the same thing happening most matches where we have spells of possession and chances and we don’t convert them due to poor quality in attack e.g. Werner today, so instead of us going 1 or 2-0 up we then concede chances on transition (poor defending from VDV, Biss and Udogie) and then before we know it we are out of the game.

If we swapped Werner for let’s say Foden and he’d volleyed that chance in or we swapped Udogie, Biss and VDV for Gravidol, Rodri and Dias, we’d not be 2-0 down here.

I know we don’t have city’s riches but player quality makes a huge difference.

I think we are like klopps Liverpool early days when they were conceding tons of goals, in come VVD & Allison and then on they went to success.

Let’s see how it plays out as Ange won’t change his tactics so it has to be personal improvements to make the difference.

Crouch saying he heard Ange shouting at the players. Fucking good. I understand some people want to blame the tactics, but without the sloppy stupid play both their goals wouldn't have happened and we'd have finished two chances of our own.

Who on the club decides and give Nike the green light on which away or third kit colours ?

If it's hard for us to watch on the telly, it's must be as hard to spot on the field

lol.. Newcastle with 10 corners. They've been first on the ball on 9 of them. Absolute shit defending.

No subs? So we just want to write this one off?

We have 4 solid midfielders on the bench.

Out of 10 corners conceded, newcastle was first on 9 of them.

Would be interesting to the know the stats on how many games we have won with this kit on?
Think our stats for most of our away kits would be bleak. Aside from 2 or 3 seasons under Poch we’ve always just been a bit shit away from home.

Doesn't seem to matter who the opponent is, we are always so vulnerable at the back.

As far as the 'attractive' football ange has us playing, I honestly can't remember enjoying us playing really well since the Chelsea game.
