It's chalk and cheese. Last season was boring, turgid shite.

We have had a few bad ones this season, but its generally been better

Not generally, specifically it was better in the first 12 games and since then it's been pretty mediocre. And maybe we're seeing now why we played boring football last season. Imagine playing like this without Van De Ven

I don’t think their keeper was ever in camera shot. Absolutely disgraceful performance. Are they leaving all of their energy on the training field? So lethargic. This is a 43 game season for gods sake. There should be bundles of energy left in them.

Pathetic. Even when Newcastle took their foot off the gas we couldn't look threatening. Lots of work needed in the summer again.

Has it ever been proved that it does any good? Most of the time i reckon it's white noise to a player, especially that prick Arteta
Well one would think it would when he tries to affect the game. A change of tactic, a toe up the hole or something.

This system can work but Ange has to accept that it needs to be tweaked.

City are proof that it can work but all of their midfielders whether it be defensive or offensive both work their arses off and are so technically gifted that they’re a nightmare to get the ball off them. None of our midfielders can replicate what City do. The last player to do this was Dembele.

Anthony Gordon summing it up, saying they knew they couldn’t play their normal game or we’d beat them, so they switched it up tactically to give them what they thought was the best way to play us.

Come on Son has been awful as a no9
I don't think he is a good no 9. But who is more likely to score their chances... Son, Werner, Johnson, Kulu or Maddison? Sometimes you just need a quality finisher to stay on the pitch.

I’m back to the stage of just looking out for the result when the game is over rather than put myself through the pain of watching us. I thought that would stop after Conte left but looks like it’s back 😂 we really are a shambles.

I've definitely "lost it". I went to the Forest game last Sunday which was my first visit in years, first to the new stadium.

While I obviously cheered the goals, it's the first time I've ever been to watch Spurs and felt *nothing*.

It was a bizarre and saddening feeling. Can't see myself going back.

Don’t think today is knee jerk though.
Feel like I have been hooked up to an electric chair today!.
That was abysmal, and I worry about our game against Woolwich.
I think that we clearly aren't ready for CL football next season. Arsenal isn't a game that anyone wants to lose but in the grand scheme of things, it's another game.

First time I’ve been pissed off after a game since Newcastle away last year. We were awful in every category: slow in attack, defensive errors everywhere, lack of desire, lack of fight, poor strategy, and no attempt to change the strategy. Dreadful.

Christ. We've managed to drop down a place without our rivals even playing a game.

This f'ing club man. :LOL::cry:
