Don't mind Sky not talking about us, rather we go under the radar and quietly do the business.

A back up striker is never really going to "kick on" though are they?

There's rarely been a striker in history worth a wank that's impressed the world as "back up" from the bench is there? Strikers, more than anyone need continuity and rhythm.

I think it's crazy expecting your bench striker to provide what your uber first choice does. Have to be realistic, we are not going to have Kane in the team and another Kane on the bench.

Let me guess; you're an all or nothing personality? ;)

If Jansen scored 9 or 10 league goals for us this season then that, for me, is 'kicking on'

Tbf sissoko could well be motivated today, old club, first day of the season with a potential move on the horizon in a wc year. Well we can hope anyway

Happy with that time, I think after no pre season Wanyama and Son could never have started but suddenly our apparently thin squad has a pretty strong bench to call on.

Delighted to see he's trusting Walker Peters, and Sissoko should at the very least give him good protection.

Fuck the transfer window, this is the exciting thing.

A 3-goal win together with Manure dropping points will make a good week and we'll be top of the table.
