would liverpool want both origi and bony, maybe origi to the lane

Origi isn't for now. Its a future signing which is why were happy for him to stay at Lille. He'd join Ilori as somebody we would loan out each season for the next few years.

I think a few big clubs have been looking at Chavs enviously due to them buying all these talented kids early, loaning them out and then keeping them if they develop into a good enough player or selling them on at a profit. they just signed another teen yesterday from Split who is rated for the future.

Just seen we are 4/11 to sign him whereas Liverpool are 3/1, I know odds don't mean much just interesting as I thought he was almost gone to them!

Was just about to post this myself.

I'll be honest I thought he had already signed with Liverpool.

Betting is normally rather small on player transfers, a substantial bet could have bookies changing their odds very quickly.

I might be proven wrong in time but not bothered if Liverpool get this guy. From what I've seen the thing Origi seems to lack is that predatory instinct. His finishing isn't up to it for a striker, young or not. The rest of his game looks pretty good to be fair but I like my strikers to be goal scorers.

I would guess that came from Friedal considering Brazil said an hour ago he had been speaking to him and said how hard training had been!

I might just be being picky, and slightly unreasonable given the call for us to take risks and discover the Lukakus (for eg) of the world before they cost a fortune... but i am not totally sold on the quality of Origi. Physically he is going to be more than fine, but his natural finishing ability, decision making and ability to pick a pass when in a decent position all seemed slightly underwhelming. This is only based on Belgian games in the WC though....

Seems a good prospect. I would be very surprised if Lille accept our bid over the Liverpools, which by all accounts includes Origi staying there on loan for a season.
