I would guess that came from Friedal considering Brazil said an hour ago he had been speaking to him and said how hard training had been!

Your probably right think Brazil is good mates with graham Roberts as well

Rumours that we bid 7m + add ons for a Belgium player this weekend. Can only be Origi right?
Well, I suppose it could also be Nicolas Lombaerts as a replacement for a CB. Price seems fair for an initial bid, would allow Vertonghen to go if he pleases (all though I don't want him to go).

Toby is another possibility for that value. But with the number of transfer rumors we have had with Origi, it could only be him ??

I thought of him. Can play centre back plus could cover at right back for Walker. We still don't know if he's over his pelvic injury yet.

Yeah price range wise but he's not very good and we passed the last time we looked at him. I can't see any reason why we would change our minds, he hardly played for AM and he didn't exactly shine for Belgium

I would be underwhelmed too. He had a terrible season with AM.

Sort of signing we should be making IMO plenty of potential and a fair price if we can get him for less than 10m. Would like to see him loaned out either back to lile or to a lower premier league club to gain some experience

An exciting player that only has 1 league goal. How exciting!
Then you are like everybody else. You don't have sense for how to build an exciting and good team. Too many people like that involved in football. Our main investment should be to find that few people who actually can build a team.

I hate being envious of Liverpool.

Don't be. It's all very well them signing every foreign player with a pulse but they're all untried at Premiership level and let's not forget, he may be bonkers and a liability, but they've also lost Suarez, the main reason why they did so well last season. Not all foreign players hit the ground running (as we know only too well...) so next season, with all these new players coming in, and a Champions League campaign to worry about, things may not be quite so rosy for the red mickeys as many would have us believe.

One thing I do agree with you on is being insanely jealous of their Champions League qualification. We had it once and it was a wonderful experience as we lit up the tournament. I'm desperate for us to have those amazing and exciting days back again, as we all are.

Would not be upset if Liverpool gets him.

Wouldn't be opposed to acquiring him either, but he seems overly average, even for his age. Nothing about his play jumps out at me.

I agree with what your saying here. For Liverpool this summer, see us last summer. Lost our game changer, (Bale for us, Suarez for them), spent the money across multiple signings of potential from abroad. Taken out the star, strengthened the whole.
However, whilst we saw that wasn't entirely successful for us (though I believe we'll reap the benefits this year now they've settled), I think Liverpool have a slight advantage in that in Lallana and Lambert they have signed PL proven players, and above all they have done their business early, meaning a full preseason, whereas we waited and were still dealing late on.

@TonyBarretTimes: Divock Origi has told Liverpool he wants to join them and could also travel to Boston for a medical later this week.

wasn't our big problem last season that we sold not only Bale but half the team!! Liverpool have only sold Suarez and kept everyone else so I think they will not have as big a problem as we did.

"half our team"?

We sold Huddlestone, Parker, Dempsey, and Caulker none of which were first team players and some weren't even 2nd best either.

Then later on we sold Defoe when it was clear we didn't really need him anymore.
