Bad decisions happen all the time. We should have conceded a penalty against Swansea for Dawson's push on Bony but it wasn't given.
No way?
I've long thought that the word "racist" was bandied about far too much, often without any regard to its true meaning. But this really does take the biscuit, or should that be the chapati? That is so racist. Why petrol ? just because the city owners are from Uae? I mean what if he prefers dry fruits and camels
1) A blatant dive? Toure stuck out a leg, it wasn't the first time he had been putting in sly tackles.
2) What nonsense. How on earth can it be a handball when Bentaleb was protecting his face from a ball that was hurtling at 100mph? It's a completely natural reaction.
3) Of course the decisions were game changers, you don't need to be Einstein to realise that.
Am I the only one who finds this thread a bit embarrassing?

It is minimal contact, but thats the contact that causes Dzeko to go down - linesman view, it really does look pretty stonewall.
Flip it around, and imagine that Dzeko is Ade, and Rose is Kompany.
You'd be saying deffo penalty, ebcause his heel was clipped.
Doesn't matter how much contact, thats what caused him to go down, so a penalty and a sending off.
It's that easily flipped around between the two, so how on earth are Ref's and lino's expected to get things right first time?

My point is, like the game last night, we now want the referee and linesman lynched based on multiple television replays.
It even took a few replays of the disallowed goal until it could be ascertained that Dawson was not offside at the time the ball was kicked.
As for Rose, when the tackle occurred my first thought was that it was a clear penalty. It is only with the super slow motion replays that you can see Rose actually got to the ball first.
It is not unreasonable to understand why the linesman flagged Dawson offside and thought he did not touch the ball first.
Regardless of all of that...
As much as I hate to say it, we were always chasing this game and City looked like they could score at will.
Don't forget they hit the post and Lloris pulled off a world class save which would have made it 3-1 at half-time. Perhaps 4 or 5-1 if Dezko could actually shoot on target.
Sorry for editing your post before replying.
I'm not saying I'm great, but on the night, with one viewing of each incident live as it happened (as they don't show replays of controversial incidents on the jumbotron), I thought the goal was offside and that Rose played the ball.
Having gone home and then watched MoTD, my feelings on both incidents haven't changed one bit.
The penalty decision was awful. It wasn't quite on a par with the Robbo penalty decision away to Seville, but it was right up there with bad decisions we've been on the end of.
If these incidents hadn't happened and City had their shooting boots on and we'd still lost 5-1, I'd be saying the same thing today as I have been, that City are a really good side.
But these incidents did happen, when it was 1-0, we were slowly getting into the game and City were rattled, so it does have some significance on the outcome of the game.
Man United pen at home on dec1st, from the stand it looked like lloris had saved it, but on replay that night, was clear we'll beck nipped it in the other direction!
Really annoyed with Sherwood's reaction to it after the game. What is it about spurs managers? Every official in the game must know by now that no matter how bad you screw us over, no matter how horrendous their errors, no matter if you literally hand the game to our opponents and no matter how crucial the game, you will never take any heat from our club.
There are no consequences for screwing us over with multiple bad decisions.
If you think it hasn't crossed an officials mind when making a call against a team managed by mourinho, Fergie and wenger what kind of shit will follow then you are very naive.
No referee has ever thought "ooh, not sure about that. I'd better not give it cos, [jol, Harry! AVB, sherwood] etc will give me he'll in the press after the game."
To my surprise I've been impressed with Sherwood so far, but that was bad management last night.

why? because a linesman who had clearly an agenda pro-City decided to ruin a game within few minutes of the start of the second half....
embarrasing indeed for my wallet having paid good hard-earned money to see a game that only lasted 50mins....

that's a poor excuse...the linesman is paid to see that incident...it happens right in front of him he is not that far to have missed it.

It's strange, whenever we get bad decisions go against us people on here will express their dissatisfaction with how little pressure our home support puts on referees. Take Newcastle, for example. When they played City their fans harangued the officials for virtually the rest of the match. Our fans last night had a half-hearted chorus of 'who's the wanker in the black?' but that was it. If they don't get abuse from the home fans then no doubt they'll think they're getting decisions right. But then it's not really surprising considering how many people are making excuses for the two decisions last night.
