I will say Son for his 20 goals, but close run with Dier, who for me has transformed that defence. Our defence was a joke last year, and yet that back 3 with Dier running the show has been fantastic.

I’m going for Dier. …
@Rob How feasible is it to organise a small trophy for the winner “spurs community player of the season” ?
I could in all probability get it to the winner, as could some others on here I reckon. Then a pic of said player holding the trophy?
Or is this a cheesy idea?

Went for Dier. Seems to be over his illnesses and injuries and has shown consistency all season. If Kulusevski had been here all season I'd probably have gone for him.

Looks like he's holding a fart until his fit missus has left.
No man should ever be denied sharing a fart with his loved one. ‘Cor, can you smell that?’ Deep inhalation from wife: ‘ugh, what is it?’
Chuckling ‘it’s one of mine honey ?’.

You should have seen how gutted I was when the ex wife and me had to have our French Bulldog put down.

The amount of times that poor little shit got a bollocking because I'd let out a sneaky food ghost & let him take the blame.

Sonny will obviously win it.

but a special shout out to two players who many wrote off - Dier and Davis.

Also, with a full injury free season I expect Romero to be in with a shout next year ?

In winter I thought there weren't any good candidates, and felt we should give it to Lloris for being decent and as a "lifetime achievement" award.
Now though, I'd say it's fairly given that Son should have it. His first 20 league goals season, some claim he's streaky - but I actually think he's been going the entire season. Can't be on fire all the time, but he's always there. Will be Son's third PotS award, only Robbie Keane has won it thrice before.
Kane, Eriksen, Carr and C*mpbell twice winners.

How this post doesn't include the words "Eric" and/or "Dier" is a mystery Scooby fucking Doo would struggle to solve.

I agree that Dier has been very good. And he has really battled back from a worrying dip in form (injuries so on) ... BUT... Dier finally plays in the right position. As the "quarterback" of a solid back 3. He has two partners he can trust. And the addition of Romero has freed Dier from the dirty work and too many running duels with pacey strikers. Dier doesn't work in a normal back 4. And he doesn't work in the positions Romero and Davies are in... he is a Beckenbauer-defender.

Conte can see exactly what the defence needs. Dier has worked very hard. But Conte is so so clever and smart. He plays a huge part in Dier's comeback. And has made him even better than the young Dier.

Yes... it must be between Son and Dier... still Son for me :) ... but I can accept Dier.
