Beats me why people have to neg rep a post like this instead of simply disagreeing with it (neutral rep).
I like to think it was probably just a mis-click, which is pretty common.

Beats me, what the heck he was talking about. And he didn't seem to have any neg reps? Just 1 person, unsurprisingly using WTF?

I mean, what exactly was the post about? Duplicate what?

Dier has had a revival, but what son does on a regular basis is world class. I really don't understand the calls of inconsistency from son. The guy lives of scraps and despite that still will have 20 league goals.

It was the post that went with the thread title. I was saying delete the thread if it's already been done cos it's normally been done by this time of the season.

Fucking hell this was a lot more effort than I envisaged!

Lloris has been excellent this year just when I thought he might be past it. Romero makes our defence look so much more solid. Kane has been brilliant after an unsteady start.
Week in and week our though it has to be Son, just. Signing a new contract before the start was a clear marker for where his loyalties lie.
Long may he stay hungry and fit to play for us

Son or Dier for me.

Attackers always get more recognition than defenders, so Sonny scoring 20 minimum without penalties will probably see him get it. However, Dier has been a rock and a leader at the back all season. Obviously having Romero fit again helped bring a sense of calm defensively, but Dier has just gone about his business and done well. Barring injuries he should be going Qatar for the World Cup.

Dier has been an absolute rock. I love Romero but part of the reason he can do everything he does is because of Dier's consistency and communication.

At the moment, I'd probably vote for Lloris. Quality player and captain. He'll be very hard to replace.
Big games still to come, though. If we qualify for the CL, we can assume the next games will include some immense performances.

I’m going for Dier. …
@Rob How feasible is it to organise a small trophy for the winner “spurs community player of the season” ?
I could in all probability get it to the winner, as could some others on here I reckon. Then a pic of said player holding the trophy?
Or is this a cheesy idea?

My error. I could have sworn WTF used to be negative. Apologies to all concerned.

Son, him signing that contract at the start of the season was massive, if he did a Kane it would probably kill atmosphere in dressing room plus Nuno being Nuno would just destroy morale. Not even Conte could recover from that. If not him then Dier or Lloris (who is past his prime but still good). Romero was injured for a long time but amazing whenever he plays.

It's a season where every single player has been up and down. Even Son has had indifferent patches and he's about to go in front for the golden boot with a hat trick against arsenal. It's Dier for me based on where he's had to come from.

@Archibald&Crooks or @Stoof might remember better but I vaguely recall that we’ve done something like this in the past. I could be misremembering though!

Replacing/upgrading either is, or will be near Impossible.

Not too shabby for a guy who's a liability & another who's streaky as fuck.
