We lose Eriksen and I lose hope.
Watch Eriksen contract situation
Where is this ITK or what did it say?
There you go.
Any obvious replacements out there we could get?
As a Tottenham fan their really aren't many periods in time where we're allowed to be happy.
I think he'll probably end up at Real Madrid tbh.
i cant see where he would go, italy is a no no, cant see us selling in this country, leaves Barca, Real M and PSG
PSG are struggling with FFP and have to buy Mbappe for 170m, Cant see Real buying him, doesnt fit there brief and Barca dont have 100m plus to spend on another AM
Most won't like it, but yes, likely to be James Maddison.
Could “watch the Eriksen contract situation” mean he’s close to signing a new contract with us??
If it waste sale of him, not sure it would be worded as a contract situation.
Optimistic rating myself
Ha, just picture losing Eriksen, Toby, Rose, Dembele and wanyama. Total meltdown.

We would have to wait another two years at least to be super competitive again then. Then sign Ceballos, de Ligt, Sessegnon, Neves and Milinkovic-Savic and people would be excited again
We shouldn't be perceived as a club holding players back out of spite. It can hurt our long term prospects of attracting talent. In fact, it's probably better to be perceived as the club that if you work hard, you go to Real Madrid or Barcelona. Now, if the club would be able to come up with a competing offer that a player would be satisfied with and he would chose to stay at Spurs because it was his preference, great. We all would prefer that. But if it is not to happen, I don't want the club to hold players back just because it can. We are big enough that we shouldn't have to force players to stay, but rather present them with a tangible offer they can chose to accept or not.
