If he can be persuaded to stay I’d much rather keep and get him fully fit for next season.

If not we need a specialist left back who provides same level of athleticsm and pace.

Would prefer to keep Rose though tbh, just depends on whether he’s reined in the attitude now.

Don`t think we should have sold Walker to a rival and feel the same about Rose... with his hear right and free of injury he will be awesome again.

Certainly helped us push for goals today, as did kWP, the amount of times both our fullbacks were in the Leicester penalty area at the same time just reminded me of what we’ve missed this year.

Modric never went to a national newspaper a week before the season bashing the club.

Rose is a fantastic LB when he’s on form, but he’s crossed Poch and we all know how that ends.

Not sure which is worst, Kane claiming that goal or Danny saying what everyone was thinking. Class is permanent, he is a top LB.
Let's kiss and make up.

I think it ends however Poch wants it to end.

If he wants him gone, Rose is sold. But if Poch and Danny have talked things over, maybe he stays.

He’ll probably end up staying because no club better than us will be interested in him.
Not because of Poch wanting to keep him, let’s be honest .

Yesterday was the perfect example of what attacking, quick fullbacks can bring to our attack. We were off to the races overtime we got the ball. Really hope we can work things out with Rose, bring in Sess to learn and play cups/come off the bench and then move on Rose next summer.

Would be baffled if Sess were to agree to leave behind being a starter at his boyhood club to come be 3rd string here. Davies has his weaknesses, and pace sure is one, but IMO he was in the top 3/4 LBs in the league this season.

Davies was one of the top LB's in the league but it was a really weak crop this year. I mean the kid is 18 how much does he really expect to play in a Champions league side? I can't see him playing a major role other than cup games in any of the top sides.

I think you underrate how much the top sides want this kid. Whoever gets him is going to have to provide assurances around playing time. If he moves this summer, he’ll play plenty next season.

We simply must keep him. Top shelf LB. i’ll be supremely dissapointed if we sell. FB was an issue this season because we simply cannot play as quick when our FB’s arent quick. Keep Rose as first choice. Keep Davies as backup. Sell Trippier. Promote KWP to rotate with Aurier. And that’s our FB situation sorted.

The Mirror/Sun say that Everton are the only club interested in Rose at this point.

If that's the case, and Spurs don't want rid, he'd be better staying. That's what a year of injuries does...

I totally agree; Rose, Aurier, and KWP are the type of fullbacks that fit the style Poch wants to play the best. Davies is an excellent backup to Rose and will still get plenty of matches due to Poch's tendency to rotate the fullbacks.

I also think Keanan Bennetts from the U23s would fit the mold of the LB/LWB that Poch fancies. Bennetts has had an excellent season and deserves an seat on the plane to America this summer.

I feel bad for Trippier as he has been a good servant to the club and has put in some good performances over the past two seasons. However, I think Aurier and KWP have a higher ceiling than Trippier and that puts them ahead of him IMO.

The big question is does Rose still want to be at Tottenham, especially if a big club like United come calling?

Don’t know why we would keep him. He has nothing between the ears and has been poor this season. Would be better to sell him and try to bring in someone who wants to be here

I think Poch picked Rose and Toby to boost their World Cup chances. Both needed a game the week the squads are announced. This indicates to me Poch still has a good relationship with both.

That’s emotive nonsense. If he stays and is fit he is miles ahead of Davies because he is the best LB in the league when fit and on form.
Big ifs there.

Hercules suggests he’ll be lucky to pass a medical.

The belief that he should move on is largely predicated on a belief that his fitness and form will never reach the heights it has.

Put differently, his market value will never be higher.
