I wasnt having a go in any way at anyone but its just my general view on players and money. Some fans get angry at the club for not throwing more money at players when they dont understand how complicated these matters are.

I am very happy with the way our club is run.

Wonder if Danny still travels to the home games and supports the team.

Sorry mate, I misunderstood what you meant earlier about being naive and dumb. I thought you meant that he'd sat down for a nice innocent chat with the Sun and the next thing you know they've stitched him up completely.

If you mean it was naive and dumb to try and force a move by coming out publicly with everything he said then I agree with you.
You have no idea that he was trying to force a move by giving that interview. It was a dumb decision for him to make to even give an interview to the Sun, because what you say ends up in print! That's what I think is dumb and naive on his part.

You seem to be saying that you know what his motivation was and he knew exactly what he was doing, and that was to force a move. How do you know what his motivation was considering it was a dumb move to have the interview in the first place?

His injury must have been more serious than many initially thought; he's not going to be far off the recovery time for an ACL reconstruction (I know it's his medial that's the problem). My understanding was that medial injuries have a much quicker recovery, so perhaps there were setbacks.

Hope he's fit soon, great player.

I never claimed to know anything, in fact I said as much in my original post. My opinion is just that it's far more likely that he was trying to start something than for it all to have been an innocent mistake. It's not like it's minor things that the sun have just twisted, he's made several very clear statements that I don't believe he's stupid enough not to realise would go down badly with the club, players and fans. Like I say I dont know anything and not did I ever claim to. It's just my belief

Explain please, how I'm ignorant for wanting a player to show some respect towards our football club. People seem to accept anything from players as long as they're a good player.
There are a lot of things people are never aware of, but the media. And yes, he said such things. I actually cannot recall him slagging the club or his mates off in that article. He apologised, it was accepted by all. The club were certainly aware he was going to print, even if they deny such. That is the ignorance in part.

He said the signings we make are not enough that's disrespect to he's teammates and also said our squad is not strong enough

well he indirectly slagged off half the squad by saying a) we don't have the squad depth of other clubs and b) that we need to start buying players that he doesn't have to google? regardless of whether you agree with him or not, you just don't say these things in public. moaning about his pay-cheque is also very classless and some hollow apology put out by his agent isn't going to make accept what he's said. knowing that he's basically just waiting out a move to manchester doesn't sit well with me either.

People have beat me to it on the whole googling name, and slagging the clubs finances. I'll just ask you, if sissoko had said what rose did would you be happy for him to stay?

Reckon if Harry Kane had said it people would have moved on by now.

Sissoko doesbt have to say anything for most to want him to leave

I think if a player does what he needs to do and what we need him to do on the pitch and trains hard then most things can be forgiven if the appology comes quickly and seems genuine.

The only reason the club would have OKed the content of that interview is if they were happy for Rose to distance himself from the fans and club a little.
If one of the better players are going to leave in the near future, it is less traumatic if the fans are given fair notice.
