Janssen is a far better striker and that's saying something.
No he's not. Look at Llorente's career achievements. Janssen is no where near his level.

I’m sorry but I just don’t buy this bollocks that we can’t have a good second striker. The smart thing to do though might be to bring in a Martial type.

Because they're easy to find within our budget?
Has he even had a shot at goal?
Terrible footballer, stop making excuses for him now please.
It feels like we create more than enough chances, it's just a case of finding someone with an ounce of Kane's finishing.
Ineanacho is by no means a great striker, but his goals/shots ratio is fantastic. We can forgo a strikers all round game, as we won't find anyone capable of deputising for Kane in that sense, as long as they can bloody finish!
Dortmund and last night are prime examples where we could do with a fox in the box. Doesnt have to be a world class player. Just some fucker who knows where the goal is. Even Hernandez would have been a better shout.
Loved the idea of Llorente and really wanted him to be a weapon for us, but instead he looks shot and his confidence is on the floor
About time we drop Kane for Greaves then, look how much he’s achieved in his career.
Watford managed it with Richarlison.
That doesn't even work as a come back mate
My point is that we can’t loom at what a player has achieved, we need to look at how they’re performing now - and Janssen is better than Llorente right now.
Llorente scored goals in the prem last season and has scored goals in major leagues throughout europe and internationally.
Janssen failed to make an impact on in his debut season in the prem and only seems able to score in second rate leagues like the Turkish and Dutch leagues.
I really don't see that there is any comparison
I don't care what his past achievements are, I care about how he's playing for Spurs now. Players shouldn't be picked on reputation. No he's not. Look at Llorente's career achievements. Janssen is no where near his level.
It's not his lack of pace. That's not something he can control and not something that really matters.Look he’s been a top player for a long time and never had any pace.
He’s suffering from no pre-season and a distinct lack of rhythm, and also maybe our players aren’t attuned to getting the best out of him.
