With the rest of our attacking group theres no reason we can't run him out more often and expect to win games against lesser opponents.Completely agree. I have actually been impressed with him lately all things considered.
We need to play both. Eriksen & Dele are still slowly coming off injury, Lamela still needs his minutes managed as well. Why use Llorente when Son as shown that he's a much better backup?
Son has been awful this season so far, and has the Asian cup coming upWhy use Llorente when Son as shown that he's a much better backup?

Sorry to bump the thread...seen this morning he could be up for a reunion with Bielsa at Leeds..
Not being funny but that would be a great move for ‘Nando at this stage of his career. Leeds are crying out for a striker since they sold Chris Wood, and I think Llorente would be comfortably able to hammer goals in in that league and push Leeds for the Premier League...
With his contract expiring in the summer, if Leeds offered us 3million for him tomorrow he can go, and good luck to the boy, technically gifted striker, wasted with us I think.
Speaking of Leeds, their keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrel has been good to watch, seems a decent keeper, certainly someone worth keeping an eye on as a promising HG keeper...Vorm again would be well suited to that level and could be a bargaining chip, experienced and a sturdy head for a team gunning for PL football...
Maybe they'll pull a Leeds again...The article I read in the Sun earlier said £4 million or nothing in the summer. We won't turn that cash down in January, we'd be silly to, especially if you factor in the wages he's on, which aren't insignificant apparently. Makes me wonder how Leeds would afford the wages.

He didn’t actually touch it I think but he certainly occupied the two defenders leaving some space behind.Deserves a shout out for beating 2 Burnley defenders to the header that led to our goal. If we played more to his strengths he'd be a very effective alternative to what we have, but many people will never see that because they don't want to.
Need to keep him this season. He is a plan B or C... He seems effective when we lob it to him and has done well against Inter and now Burnley.
And those eyes man those eyes mmmmmmmmmmm dreamy
