The only player who has a passing range, who can dribble without losing, who doesnt pass to the opposition every other minute

I was loving the fact when he came on he didn't even speak to anyone and just took the ball for the FK. Then when he misse I thought you arrogant so and so

It was literally like a NFL field goal kicker being brought on...and his effort was of the same standard.

I mean the manager should go but Bale should be a part of that clear out in the summer tbh.

What do you make of his performances in those (rare) convincing wins recently? Surely he had/has a part to play this season? Why is he being made an example of when there are far more ineffectual/less potent players who have played and will play double, triple the minutes? Because he doesn’t fit in with the throw everyone behind the ball desperately trying not to concede and concede anyway policy? I’m not saying I’m right I’m just so confused.

Let's be real it doesn't matter who comes in we are a mess, the issue isn't entirely to do with personnel, it's more tactical having said that the mentality of some of the players on that pitch need to change and I think Bale is one of them. To mitigate the fact that everyone seems to be playing for their own motivations I wouldn't have him on the pitch because he just doesn't do enough in his all round game for me at least in a defensive aspect. You see yesterday how we were wide open against Newcastle and allowed them 17 shots in the box...having Bale on the pitch isn't going to do anything to stop that.

I do see an argument for him though to be on there and if we can setup a system for him to get the best out of him then I'm all for it but I don't know what that would be - he's obviously quality but I guess I'm still pissed off at the lack of cover he offered against Arsenal and Zagreb.

probably not
probably more to do with paying massive wages and getting a disproportionate value out of the transaction.
Similar to the manager really.

I think Jose has completely mis managed Bale. I can bet you that Bale hates Jose's guts too. It's so obvious they are not fans of each other.

Bale should definitely have started in place of either Vini or Moura. Or even come on around 60 minutes. Yes he isn't the player he was, and his off the ball work isn't good, but he has the ability to win games.

Would Bale really have been as bad as Moura was? I don't get Jose, he sits there and watches Moura continuously lose the ball and ruin our attacks from starting.

Bale will go back in the summer, but make no mistake, Jose has completely fucked up the use of him this season.

I couldn't believe that both Son and Bale were on the bench considering that we were playing a team that Kane, Bale and Son would have ripped apart ala Palace and Burnley. I've been one of the few fans who would give Jo Mo another season but my mind has changed.

He's not had a chance to give us more out of the loan. The one time he started games in a run he hit form where he was out best player and was involved in every goal we scored and we won a bunch of matches. Up until the NLD where the whole team was shit and he's been scapegoated cause he didn't carry the whole team.

Then add in that he played for Wales, had a couple of quieter games but still set up both of their goals. That's his quality. He didn't have blinders but still set up the winning goal in their last game.

His free kick yesterday was like his return to Spurs in microcosm;

The saviour jogs onto the pitch, chewing his gum. The crowd hold their breath, remembering what he's capable of. The opposition shake in their boots as he takes his run up and................................What the fuck was that? (As he nearly takes out one of the spotlights).

The gum chewing really annoyed me for some reason. Anytime I see a player chew gum on the pitch I just think it's stupid and unprofessional.

And I sometimes chew two packs of gum a day so it's not an anti-gum thing. There's just a time and a place and on a football pitch during a match just isn't that.

at least with bale, you expect something.
for all kanes awesomeness, the only thing you expect from him taking a fk is for him to hit the wall :s

Exactly this although I did say to Mrs Rooster "this is going straight over the bar." I even think it wide and high. He wouldn't have been in the right frame of mind seeing he wasn’t going on in the first place.

We did so well with all our players tracking back yesterday meaning we didn’t give up lead again...

Oh wait...

He needs to play, stick him central and then sub him off on 70 minutes once his job is done.

Sissoko would have been proud of that fk.
