Gards is def still in the loop, he was one of the first who said Poch wad going to be fired.

The problem is he hates Levy and the board so sometimes it can be difficult to know if he's sharing ITK or giving opinion.

Gards is right. We want him, and he's open to a possible return. The big ssue hasn't changed at all though. The financials are just not doable as things stand. Would take a lot and I mean a lot, of movement from ALL parties.

Oh God, here we go again! Interesting that we are back at the table again and i am encouraged that there doesn't seem to be a long list of suitors for him. If he leaves Madrid i would say there is a more than reasonable chance he ends up here but its a big IF. Very big!

think this means levy upping his bid of £1 a week over 2 eons to £1.50

Was really hoping you'd shoot this down. I'm now going to celebrate like he's already signed and be disappointed when he doesn't :ROFLMAO:

Cheers Trix, I suppose the financials will be pretty impossible wherever he goes, no one will now pay him £600k per week, even clubs like United he would still have to take a massive wage drop even if it’s down to say £300k per week.
It’s up to Gareth I suppose, if Madrid are willing to let him go for a low fee (I imagine they would just to get rid of his wage bill alone) but Bale needs to make the choice of playing football for the love of it, and baring in mind it’s Euros next year, he certainly doesn’t need to be sitting on the bench all season at Madrid.

I suppose one way round the wages is big sign on bonus, to make up for it. But it’s easy saying that whilst sitting on my chair at home!

Problem is, for us to get Bale he has to specifically want us ahead of any other option, because if there’s a deal to be made that we can afford, then all our rivals who can also afford him will want him too.

Would it be pushing it if I cross posted Gards and Trix's posts in the it thread? Or would @Archibald&Crooks have an absolute meltdown over the pandemonium that would ensue?

Trix's post is fine. Gards stuff originating from twitter isn't. He's on here and is capable of posting it himself if he wants it on here :)

Does he even like football anymore? Think he's more likely to try going pro at golf rather than moving to a competitive league

So levy increases his offer per week by £0.01 and bale is to drop by about £400k a week..... Typical levy :cautious: o_O

Wages were always going to be the issue, he would have to be on more than Kane and then that might mess up other salaries if they want more!

You mean the Daily ITK thread? I'm going with meltdown :D

If it hadn't been done to death already and if it wasn't already being discussed in here then perhaps not, but it has and it is, so why bother.

To be fair mate, the reason I didn't post it in the ITK thread is because it's nothing new. I know some won't see it like that, and they will rejoice like it's a done deal but hey that's SC.

Literally for the pandemonium, but I like having access to the transfer forums so I won't. Even if Rob was trying to sneakily get me banned :cautious:
