Yeah he needs to be recalled, we need the numbers and he will be better served training with us than at Wednesday.

Is it not slightly telling that, in an effort to empahsise the potential of the kid, we're trawling through videos from 2017 against weak opposition?

It's really weird, I think he's got everything he needs to succeed but it's just not happening. The loans aren't working, maybe time to get him back for the coaching squad to have a look first hand?

Not really. We have some SC posters who would happily call on his time at Villa, and cite 1 or 2 games where he didn't stand out, as the reason we should sell or not bother with developing him further, as obviously if he can't do perform against such and such team, how can expect him to do it for us? . I just added these videos for those that haven't seen him to show what he can offer. I agree though, it's up to him to show Poch etc that he can do that consistently and have a positive impact for the team. If Poch gives him a fair run and he fails to give it his all, then nothing else we can do. I just want to him to get the opportunity.

Also, here are more past Onomah compilations at Villa. Sadly, no Shef Wed compilations

Bristol city aren't weak opposition, yea they aren't a big name, they are challenging for the playoff space at the moment and finished in the top half last season

Well, thats the end of that

Good luck to him, I hope at some point he earns a move to team that plays decent football.

Not the decision I personally wanted to see, felt now was the time to re-integrate and try and kickstart his spurs career with 6 months training with the team followed by a good pre-season.

Really felt that we could use him with our struggles in midfield. Hope this means that we're optimistic on a CM signing but the far likelier outcome is just that we'll be leaving ourselves short for the second half of the season.

As did I. Honestly, I don't see how, with our current injury predicament, Poch isn't looking to keep Onomah and and any able bodied players around to keep us from having to dip into the U23's for cover or from further injuring players by playing them with little to no rest ( Sissoko). Anyway, I hope this means we have a new CM coming in, though more than likely just means Poch is okay with Dier, Wanyama, Sissoko, Winks, Skipp and Marsh as his go to CM's for the remainder of the season.

He should jump at the chance to join one of those clubs, we're just wasting him here. Take the opportunity.

Yes, though we will discuss him in the future transfer windows as a target as well. The German clubs had seen Lookman, Sancho, Nelson and Onomah dominate international youth football. They know what they're doing.

Not saying they are bad, but as people have pointed out it's only Sancho that has left a mark in the Bundesliga.

At this point in time I think it's easier to lure English players away on frees or low bids with their clubs happy to see them leave for a club outside England than it is to get prospects from other German clubs.

As a german club I would concentrate my scouting on those english talents, stuck at City, Chelsea, and so on.... they never get a chance there and those clubs are open to sell abroad for a relatively small fee (e.g. Sancho) and the best thing is, if they are a success english clubs will offer huge money to get them back to the PL :ROFLMAO:
