Yes! Just needs a chance to play in the CM position. This tournament will definitely help his case with Poch. He's really improved his defensive side of his game and I believe he's ready to start some games for us. I don't think he'll let us down long as he's paired with Wanyama/Dembele.
We don't need to sign a CM. We are perfectly well stocked with Wanyama, Dembele, Dier, Winks and Onomah.
As I said before, he can beat players like Dembele does. If he toughens up and gets in the gym then he has the potential to be a monster. The boy can pass too.Pochettino has said previously that he wished that he had got his hands on Dembele when he was 18 and that if he had have he would be one of the worlds best.
Well he has that exact chance right now with Onomah. Developed correctly he could be a very special player. I hope we don't sign a CM and use Winks and Onomah as the primary rotation options in there next season. Both have outstanding potential and really could be anything for us.
Highlights of his U20 WC campaign, worth watching and reminds of a current first team member. It would be interesting to see if anyone else agrees?

I think Sissoko is an example of theYou forgot the man-beast Sissoko
Onomah seems to rely very much on his strength and loves to take a lot of touches. These U20 players bounce off him, but will PL players do the same?

Can't believe anyone honestly can compare Onomah to the beast that is Dembele. Every time Onomah have played at senior level he has looked way out of his dept and looked very weak physically and just brushed off by everyone. Polar opposite of Dembele.
I would LOVE it if he was the next one to come through as those are the most special players, but unlike Winks, Kane, Bentaleb and many others he have looked out of his depth at every opportunity given. He obviously very young still and have every chance to succeed
Onomah is only 20 and has not played in his preferred central midfield position for the first team. I am not sure how you can write him off. All I and many others have said are that he has the potential to be Mousa's replacement.
Did you see Mousa play at the age of 20 for AZ Alkamaar to make a like for like comparison?
