set up two and hit the post...Deki might have to be moved to the middle where he said he would ideally play anyway

Let's have it right he's played much better than Kulusevski in the two matches so far. I will not be surprised if Manor starts ahead of him if their form trajectories maintain their current paths.

Can imagine Levy sending Shaktar one of those birthday cards your Nan would get you back in the 80’s with a little plastic section that held a £1 coin. In reality though, they’ve no chance of getting that much.
I said it before and i'll say it again, i really hope we do give them that amount as a) he's worth far more than that anyway and b) it would be a really great gesture and, at long past, some good PR !

He’s going to be a real asset for us this season . Can play either side I actually think that he could be a major threat to Kuluseski place in the team .

he definitely needs to up his game . Incredibly one footed where as Soloman can go with either foot

We've seen the best and worse of Kulu which is expected for a young player. Still think he's smart enough to keep learning and add more to his game.

I mean, the whole situation is a bit iffy, but not because of us. So, I think that's very fair of us, if true. Maybe we could add a symbolic fee or something to make it look better for Shakhtar, but I really feel like we're meeting them halfway here.

They got paid by FIFA, it got nothing to do with Spurs

I don't disagree. But we are in the centre of the discussions about it, and there are optics to consider.

Personally, I think we're good with what we've offered.

Maybe Son will start season on left as been one of our star players, but if he doesn’t get off to a flyer I’d hope Solomon will get his chance to shine and players played on form and not because they’re nailed-on starters.

Could be if Kane goes that Son may have to be called on to play centrally anyways as well.

He can of course also play right side, although left side if his preferred position.

There‘s also if Kane stays I‘d quite like to see him with Maddison, Kulusevski and someone else creative like Solomon around him to see how many chances we could serve him Lo, whereas Son is more of a finisher than creator for me.

I’d also like to see Solomon get 11 as seems a bit wasted on Gil, although we don’t seem to take away first 11 numbers in recent times,

Small sample size , but everytime i've seen him play for Fulham and now in our three friendlies, he's done a few thing that are exciting (and also had some end product). I like him, he does everything at pace and is always looking to do something positive. He's a really handy option to have for this sort of system - you can see him having a real impact coming on late in those 100 min games. Good signing.
