He's no good playing on the right. Put him centrally to run at the opposition, chances are he'll run over them.

To play central midfield you have to be able to either play on the half turn, have good passing ability, take the ball in tight areas or at least be a good tackler - he can't do any of this. Simply being able to run in straight line won't cut it.

Inter want him, ciao
They will get Berardi instead.

I know he is an easy target but damn, today's showings was actually embaracing. So incredibly poor. I feel sorry for him as he is clearly bereft of confidence and our style of play clearly doesn't match his. Every time I see him on the pitch I am just left with one question... who thought he would be a good signing for this Spurs.

I would not play him at cm with his 1st touch, he would be a liability giving the ball away

Thing is his best bits of play for us have come from him playing centrally, he might lose the ball but he'll push up the field a lot faster. He always slows down to consider his next move when he's on the right, when he's in the middle his main goal is get to the opposition box with brute force.

No doubt he has been a massive disappointment but with the injuries we have suffered we really do need him to step it up till the end of the season.

Totally agreed. We really need him to be serviceable. Can't expect him to suddenly become good, but even if he can just not embarrass himself every time he's on the pitch, that'd be a marked improvement.

And he looks like doing that?

Is he capable of doing that?

I have my reservations.

We would have been better off giving Mane a £10m signing on fee with a confidentiality clause.

Yes, I'm joking.

I do too but we need him to show more than he has up until now.

Exactly. We all understand that he's hasn't worked out for us but the few glimpses of his efficacy have come from him running at the opposition players from a central part of the field. Not saying he should start as a CM but he should NOT play as a RM/RAM for us. He really looks awful there.

When just dont embarrass yourself is the best you can hope for its time to go lol.

Was at the game today, right at the front 2nd half on the wing Sissoko was operating on.He's a Spurs player and i dont like saying he's shit or whatever, i prefer to look for constructive critisism but after watching him close up, i have to say he's shit.
