For a team like Leicester, who play on the break, Sissoko would probably be a decent player - but he's just so unsuited to us.

Clearly, Sissoko wasn't who many wanted when we bought him and did little to meet or even exceed expectations on the pitch. A move away seems right for us and the player. That said, I do feel a tad uncomfortable with the disrespect to him and some of the vitriol that has come his way. The transfer fee we paid was not his fault...that he is just not the standard we require must be separated from his attitude which has always been fantastic. He has always given his all in games and you can't ask much more than that from a player. Many more talented players have cared less and treated us like crap yet are still highly regarded. If he goes, I truly wish Sissoko the best of luck...I just hope we have a few CMs coming as really down to the bare bones...

He seems a decent person but oh what an awful footballer.

We are going to be incredibly weak in central midfield unless we bring in a couple

Losing Sissoko will not do a great deal more damage to that situation.

Another who given his build and strength should be an immense player but sadly plays like he is wearing roller skates and is timid with and without the ball. Can't pass, can't tackle. I'm afraid he's a football fraud. Unbelievable that he bought him in the first place.

I'd just like to say at this juncture that Moussa Sissoko seems to be a top lad, despite his lack of ability.

He's carried on playing for us for 2 years during a storm of hatful comments towards him. Can't fault his attitude - and further to that, his teammates/the rest of the team seem to interact well with him on social media videos and the like/substitution handshakes and hugs.

Like others have said, it's not his fault we overpaid for him and made him our record signing. It is remarkable he made it this far, though.

Have we ever actually played Sissoko in cm though?? Thought Poch usually deployed him on the wing?

If the Wolves rumours are true, then great. He will no doubt score against us this season... oh well. On the bright side it opens up a nice HG slot for Grealish, who appears to be a significant upgrade.

normally I'm worried when facing past players, but Sissoko's finishing wouldn't scare me, unless i was sitting in row Z.
