Where did that stat come from ?
It's exactly 73.7%

You can find this on Squwaka.

Search the player, click on average pass accuracy, then above the graph click on type. It will give you a lovely pie chart. You can do the same with the whole team.... We are at 64.8% of our passes being deemed as forward.

On a phone so can't post the chart.

We need to support a midfield of Mason and Bentaleb, the first time we've had a pairing of genuine inginuity, paired with a seemingly honest passion for our club. Modric and Parker were obviously a class above but had years of experience on these two. My one concern is that there isn't a calming head around who knows the role and can steady things in nervy games. The equivalent of our brief dalliance with Eidur Gudjohnsen, who, was fantastic at making everyone chill the fuck out.

Great post. We are so in need of that kind of player. I think we have potential players who could do that job for us in the future but largely we have a team of youngsters who need an on the pitch mentor in terms of cool headedness

Great game today was all over the place and despite his legs looking like matchsticks he can be a nasty little sod, leaving his foot in and having the odd kick , which I'm all for as in the past IMO we always seemed a bit to nice to the opposition

I loved him today. Some wayward pasing, but he was absolutely everywhere, and not only that, he won most of the challenges he went into as well.

He was dreadful for the first 30 mins, anybody who says different is a liar. Gave the ball away, made the wrong decisions in possession and gave away 2 or 3 silly fouls. However credit where credit is due he slogged his guts out the 2nd half. Tenacious and full of running. At this point I still think Bentaleb is the superior player.
