Oh I agree, but I think we have much bigger issues as it stands. There was a simple pass out to Johnson on the left but he ignored it and turned into trouble. He’s experienced enough to know not to do that

This fingers crossedDon't be surprised if he picks up once Romero and VdV are back in the side.
If you are a player looking to turn and play forward in tight areas it makes a hell of a difference how the pass is played to you. If it's fired straight at you it's far harder to adjust and turn than it is if it's played the way you should be moving in order to turn. Good clever players will give you that tiny bit more quality in the pass to make your job easier.
Also knowing you have a solid technically good outlet both in front and behind you, gives you more options and less to think about.
I'm not worried at all tbh and I'm sure he will improve once the quality around him picks back up.
We were playing Man.City away with more or less our B team and he’s been in/out the team recently due to suspension etc. He's not the same player we were seeing earlier in the season, certainly seems less sure of himself on the ball.
He certainly looks a lot more hesitant when in possession. Not really surprising. Last season we saw a similar situation with our entire midfield & attack. Knowing how fragile the back line is doesn’t inspire confidence in anyone let alone the DM whose job it is to float between the midfield and defence and cover when out of possession.Don't be surprised if he picks up once Romero and VdV are back in the side.

Indeed and I expect Ange to stick with him because he's by far the best we have in playing that position his way.He certainly looks a lot more hesitant when in possession. Not really surprising. Unless there is an underlying injury issue we are not aware of the drop in form looks entirely mental. As you say, once even Romero is back I expect to see an upturn in performance.
The bigger issues are the injury list and lack of squad depth. Other than that the big issue is that we continue to concede goals (I’m talking for years) that are avoidable and are down to our own mistakes. If we cut out those silly mistakes we will become a very tough team to beat. Yesterday was another example, get ourselves back into the match and then nearly throw it away with a silly goal to concede.Oh I agree, but I think we have much bigger issues as it stands.
did you watch hojberg against wolves.....I havent even seen Hojbjerg play as bad as Bissouma did today. That was a performance that showed why Conte refused to play him. Brutal, brutal performance. And we cant really afford those. Need much better from him against West Ham.
Yet Dier shows good mentality but makes fatal mistakes = costs us points. What Bissouma did for the 3rd goal was very poor and he should know better
