Quote from today's Telegraph match report by David Miller -

"Aaron Lennon's blistering pace as attractive as a holiday postcard but lacking in an address".

Sums our Aaron up for me this season. Reminds me of John Chiedozie!!

Still - looking up, he's in safe hands and worth more to us than letting him out the back door to somewhere like The Nukes who will put their arm around him and ensure he turns Gareth Bale inside out when next we meet.

Can anybody explain to me why the ever improving Lennon is not even being picked for the U21s?

Backwards:

Robbo - Continuing a worrying trend with Spurs keepers. Get out.

Agree his form has dipped somewhat.

Lennon - Seems more concerned about his status as top dog at faces than his football. Jog him on

Are you friggin crazy, he was no-one until he joined us!

Chimbonda - Always been a talent with a questionable attitude. Seems uninterested. See ya!

Seems to be as good as he was at Wigan.

Dawson - The amount of silly mistakes made by this fella is unacceptable. Where his heart on his sleeve but ultimately not good enough.

Again he was unheard of before joining us.

Keane - Expected so much better.

Ok, so you are friggin mental. One of our best players and probably player of the season!!

Improvers:

Malbranque - looked pony in his first season but performed well even when Jol was doing his best to ruin us.

Looks about the same as he was at Fulham to me.

Jenas - controversial but his goal rate is up since leaving the goldfish bowl and mid season was awesome for a couple of months, needs consistency.

Dito, although recently he seems to have picked up his game a bit.

Zok - slightly less bad than he was, which was woeful.
Berbatov - Raised his profile around the world. Nice to have a world class player at Spurs.

Don't remeber what he was like befroe he joined us, i'd imagine more or less he same as now though.

Jury's out:

Pudd: Another one that needs to spend less time in faces. Seems to have shifted some poundage another badly flawed player but I think he deserves one more season under ramos.

Definitley a far improved player than he was at Derby.

TT: Get fit or get out.

Bit harsh.

Too early to Tell:

KPB (dont hold out much hope), Bale (injuries:bang: - injury, singular), Woody (looking good -again wtf!! he is our buy of the season - absolute legend), Hutton (The huts nuts)

see above

Really boys, just because you have no knowledge of a player before they came to Spurs doesnt mean they magically became good when they signed.

I am sure not many were raving about "that Berbatov fella at Leverkusen" before he rocked up.

Chimbonda was Prem RB of the year at wigan, no such joy since spurs.

Still as I say this is not about other clubs.

Well. Lennon wasn't picked last u21 game for the same reason the Hudd wasn't, bc Pearce said he wanted to test some new player, whom he wasn't sure how they'd fare and therefore give them well needed experience. Instead players like O'Hara got a chance to start and appeared to have been one of the best on the pitch..

And P-L-P, you still have not explained why you consider Keane to have gone backwards at spurs, he might be having a dip in form just now, but over the season he has been in excellent form!

Sorry guys, but amidst the voices of reason a lot of guff has been spouted.

No player is consistent 100% of the time and there has been a lot of upheaval as well as some end of season experimentation which can't fail to affect performances.

Ramos will make important decisions to get the right blend of players (to make a team, not a hotchpotch of individuals) and things will settle down. I expect to see some of this beginning to happen next season.

Can't wait to see Bale fit again and I agree with whoever said that Woodgate was a fantastic buy. Malbranque has been brilliantly consistent this season and has given 100% effort in every game he's played and Keano's sometimes overflowing passion and his loyalty and love of Spurs will earn him the well deserved title of Legend in the years to come.

I'd hate to see Berby leave but it wouldn't be the end of the world. We could, and would, win games without him.

A striker, who has had his 2 best season total goal returns has gone backwards!!!!

and as for the rest. It just beggars belief!!!

It seems alot of people are just focussing on the Keane thing because it is all they have.

To make everybody happier I will remove him

I think this post was supposed to start a debate on which Spurs players have stagnated while at the club, and therefore which players need to be sold in the summer.

However, it has been written in such slap-dash and sloppy way, that all it has done is ferment discord between members.
