Who here seriously rates Lennon?

Who honestly thinks he is fulfilling his potential?

I am sorry I questioned the blue eyed boy Keane, it wont happen again, but Lennon?

Oh my word, he has been churning out poor performances for a season and a bit now.

Seriously, Im getting allsorts of negative feedback for this thread, Even some muppet saying I am not a spurs fan for saying these things.

This is not a wind up (maybe Keane was a step too far) this is what I actually see week in week out.

Lennon has been dross.

I'd doubt many of our players would be happy with their season. Ramos sees them every day and I'm sure he's aware of where Lennon stands. If he doesn't decide to ship him out I'd expect Lennon to take his chances next year and show us what all the fuss was about. He's still young and I for one am happy to show a bit of patience with him.

Backwards:

Robbo - Continuing a worrying trend with Spurs keepers. Get out.
Lennon - Seems more concerned about his status as top dog at faces than his football. Jog him on
Chimbonda - Always been a talent with a questionable attitude. Seems uninterested. See ya!
Dawson - The amount of silly mistakes made by this fella is unacceptable. Where his heart on his sleeve but ultimately not good enough.

Improvers:

Malbranque - looked pony in his first season but performed well even when Jol was doing his best to ruin us.
Jenas - controversial but his goal rate is up since leaving the goldfish bowl and mid season was awesome for a couple of months, needs consistency.
Zok - slightly less bad than he was, which was woeful.
Berbatov - Raised his profile around the world. Nice to have a world class player at Spurs.

Jury's out:

Pudd: Another one that needs to spend less time in faces. Seems to have shifted some poundage another badly flawed player but I think he deserves one more season under ramos.
TT: Get fit or get out.

Too early to Tell:

KPB (dont hold out much hope), Bale (injuries:bang:), Woody (looking good), Hutton (The huts nuts)

Not mentioned? - jog on.

I can't agree with the now-absent comments on Keano, he has continued to improve while at the Lane; plus its not only the goals but the heart that make him so valuable. His dedication is unquestionable, IMO--unlike some other big-name strikers.

With Dawson it seems that we are all seeing the result of the conflict of roles and expectations assigned to him--what I mean (because that was worded poorly:)) is that many of us saw Dawson as a number one, when in reality he is more suited to be a squad player. I don't question his commitment, but he just doesn't have the quality to be the number one that we all want. So he hasn't gotten worse, he seems the same player as always, its just that our view of him has changed--sans Leds.

Defo agree about Jenas, he has improved under Wendy especially and I hope that it continues.

Not sure that Zoko has improved in the larger sense, but he has been in better form recently.

I think, and I know that many disagree, that KPB can/will come good; like Kaboul (who I hope goes nowhere this summer) he has a lot potential, he just needs time.

it would be nice to get a sensible response from you as to why you initally stated Keano had gone backwards and then stood by your comments.

well...........

There is no possible response which is why he hasn't come up with one....BUT.....he has succeeded in winding up a lot of people, which I suspect became his aim after a while!
