Substituting our only striker who looks isolated just so another striker can be isolated?

For someone who was supposed to be some kind of tactical super-genius, he has the footballing nous of a door mouse.

In the league we've score 4 goals. An own goal, Bent capitalising on Lampard's mistake, an actual goal by Jenas, and a deflection off Bent's shin. Somehow I think the whole 'playing one striker up front by himself' strategy isn't working.

Watch how it takes at least four months for anyone at the club to figure that out:roll:

what a complete and utter load of SHIT, the team have no idea how to play football and there wasnt one player who stood out..not one. Pav is too slow , not a clue. Corluka is too slow also without a clue. We are the worst team in the league. We must be the laughing stock of London never mind the rest of the premier league. I am genuinely worried about relegation, and am not confident at all of beating hull or stoke.. im just waiting for the eternal optimists to post back ...whining with "give them time" to all you who are thinking this...go fk yourself ..sorry but i have had enough of this crap. The crowd were so right..we dont know what were doing.

i am just worried that we are not creating enough chances.
Portsmouth were off the back of 2 bad results and would have been blasted for the results.

we should have had a penalty for handball aswell

but, looking at positives-

Gomes came for crosses and got them all.
Ohara ran his heart out and was not affraid to want the ball
Lennon is looking twice the player of last year.
corluka looked calm and composed on the ball.
Zokora ran well with the ball and should have stayed on (jenas should have gone off)
Bent had a couple of chances as soon as he came on.

We should appoint Woodgate as the captain and play Bent and campbel on thursday.

i have a feeling that Ramos may only have 2 games left to save his job.

Seriously I can pick a better starting 11 than what Ramos is picking, I've been defending him and supporting his style of play when he was at Sevilla but I have no idea what he is doing with these starting line-ups. Why is Dawson, BAE, Bentley, and Gilberto starting???? Our midfield 3 was set up ok, although Jenas was pathetic, captain?? yea right. But then I have no idea why we are starting with Gilberto and Bentley on the wings. How much slower do we want to be?? Pavlyuchenko doesn't have the pace to get away from defenders, even Sol Eek so surely you need pace on the wings?

Dawson, well how much times does he give the ball away trying to play his Hollywood diagonal balls? I think one of them made it to Corluka, the others all gave away posession. BAE, destroyed by Glen Little, yes people that flying winger, all I can do about that is LOL Without Bale if he is our next best option at LB we are screwed.

Even though they scored the 2nd we played so much better with Gio and Lennon on the wings. Only people that come out of this game with credit for me are Gomes, Corluka, Woody, Lennon and Gio.

And where was Fraiser Campbell?? Not even on the bench. WTF??? As some of you know I believe we should be playing a variation of either 4-3-3/4-2-3-1/4-5-1. But not like that, not like that at all. That was the most negative way to start a game. When we do the threads to predict the team line-up who would have picked that? Ramos doesn't seem to be making logical choices. Guys we are in serious trouble, I'm so frustrated right now it's untrue. Sorry for the long rant and spelling mistakes but I just had to get that off my chest.

Simply not good enough today like it has been for most of the season. Im not sure if im going to get slated for saying this but the clock must be ticking on Mr Ramos we really cant carry on like this for much longer! Im starting to get really fed up with the club hiding behind the Berbatov and Keane excuse! Also im fed up with our style of play we pass pass and pass but never go any where and just end up giving the ball away! We have no cutting edge! :bang:

OK the performance was'nt great but we are away from home against a tricky opponent. But I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the refs deceision not to give us a penalty! These games are decided by paper thin margins. That decision was a disgrace given that he had awarded a penalty against us.

We have the worst CM in the prem with the exception of probarbly Modric and Huddlestone.Jenas is too hit and miss Zokora's distrbution is terrible although he does work hard O'Hara is crap (and i don't care how many of you want to argue with me about that) he works hard but has no quality.We are supposed to be trying to challenge the big four bur compare our CM to theirs and the gap is frightening.Even teams like Villa and City and Everton our better than us in that area we are shocking in that department.

Probably because we played shite and getting a penalty (and maybe a draw) would have flattered us immensely.

The worst thing is, that nothing was really any players fault. People bag Dawson for being shit, which he well may be, but he didn't cost us the game. BAE and Gilberto did nothing all game, but they didn't cost us the game. etc. The only real individual culprit was Jenas for the penalty.

What lost it for us was that we had no direction, no gameplan, no strategy. You can put in all the players you like but without some idea of how you are supposed to be scoring goals as a team all we can hope for is the occasional wondergoal.

Have to question Ramos's selection today. Gilberto and BAE are just not Premier League standard. Whilst O'Hara has heaps of passion and tenacity, he gave the ball away too many times today. Why didn't Modric start? Why wasn't at least one of Gio or Lennon to give some us some creativity? Why take Zokora off when he was our best player in the heart of midfield? Whilst he got it right against Newcastle, he got it totally wrong today.

On the game itself. Jenas was disgusting. Pav laboured. Gomes, Corluka and Woodgate were our better players.

Should start thinking of the dreaded R word. Cause they way we are playing at the moment its a definite possibility.

What I don't understand is why the commentators are always sniping at what we are or are'nt doing when we are away from home, When as far as I understand football the home team are the ones supposed to be asking the questions. I was hearing the same rubbish when we played in midweek against Newcastle, there really seems to be a major bias against us with the pundits and that must seep through to the officials who fail to award us the same offence as the other team!!!
