Some of the guys at a girls coaching event today. Looks like our formal left back Lee Young-Pyo in there too.

Parrot may be good at the running, but he needs help with his press-up technique.

From the 2.5 hr training video that was posted on Youtube, Lucas played RWB for pretty much the entirety of the 11 vs 10 drills and mini match.

Both sides played mostly 343 but at the end I think the "reserve" side switched to 4 at the back to mimic Sevilla, but Lucas remained at RWB for the "first team".

I haven't watched it.

But I'm guessing that Sessegnon was our only LWB that trained?
Doherty played LWB during training with Royal playing RWB for the 'reserves'.

It's probably just adjusting to who we had available

Perisic trained and was involved in the match.

Doc and Perisic both played a little bit of LWB but it was mostly Sess.

Looked to be Perisic's first session with ball work for us.

If i'm not mistaken, the final part of training ended with our "first team" being Lloris, Sanchez, Dier, Romero, Sessegnon, Lucas, Hobby, Skipp, Son, Kane, Richarlison.

The team that switched to 4 at the back had Walcott and Davies at CBs, with Emerson and Doc as traditional FBs.

Bentancur might have picked up a slight niggle? He didn't participate in the shadow play or mini match, I think I might have caught a glimpse of him on the exercise bike when training ended.

What were the line ups then?
Struggling to fit players into a team.

I can only think Royal played as a CB
Only seen little clips so haven't had time to dissect, but it looked like he was playing ahead of Doherty (LWB) as a LWF.

Yeah, felt like we likely saw the two lineups for tomorrow. Will be nice to see White get some time at CM tbh. Lad gets shifted out to LWB or LB every pre season just because he has a left foot.

Yeah, again I might be wrong as I fast forwarded thru some parts, but it looked like White got shifted between CM and LWB/LB depending on what Conte was trying to drill into the players.

Sarr on the other hand was CM regardless of phase of training.

Interesting that Lucas ONLY played RWB, whether it was 11 vs 10 shadow play or the mini match.

Can you share the link to that 2.5 hr training video?
