It’s a damn sight better than Utd’s. McTominay v 3 Liverpool players. Weakened team or not, this could be a massacre.

I still dont know if I want a massacre or Liverpool loss. I really despise Liverpool and them losing would be hilarious but they would still think theyre the best team in the world - whereas twitter would be funny with Man United fans havign been demolished.

Nah - Henderson and Milner will outwork and outrun Utd’s midfield. Elliott is tidy enough to help transition from defence to attack quickly. Liverpool will win this.

The beauty of tonight's game between MAN -LIV is that any result has ramifications.

Utd win - Liverpool drop more points and questions will start to be asked. Could start to pick at the seams of Liverpools season, as they don't seem quite at it yet, and losing to a very poor Utd could instill doubt in their camp.
Liverpool win - Ten Hag will be under even more pressure and the unrest at Utd will increase resulting in more drama on and off the field.
Draw - A point isn't very useful to either team, but good for clubs (other than Liverpool obvs) who have aspirations of finishing top four.

It's one of those games you can just sit back and enjoy regardless of outcome. Plus, it's a match with a fierce rivalry, so should be tasty. Think both teams will want to be at it to help kick start their seasons.
I'm hoping for total drama. Controversial decisions, VAR intervention, red cards, injuries, touchline bust ups, goals, streakers, asteroids etc.
