This is not a joke and i am not trying to be funny but i think it now needs to be taken very seriously. As people have mentioned in other threads, our form in 2019 is worrying, 25 points out of a possible 75 is something we can't ignore.
Anyway, the magic mark to avoid the drop is usually 40 points. We currently sit on 14 points. So we need to get a further 26 points from the next 26 games (possible 78 points).
Here are the remaining fixtures and my prediction based on our recent form:
Sat 23 Nov West Ham United A - Loss
Sat 30 Nov A.F.C. Bournemouth H - Draw
December 2019
Tue 3 Dec Manchester United A - Loss
Sat 7 Dec Burnley H - Draw
Sat 14 Dec Wolverhampton Wanderers A - Loss
Sat 21 Dec Chelsea H - Loss
Thu 26 Dec Brighton and Hove Albion H - Win
Sat 28 Dec Norwich City A -Loss
January 2020
Wed 1 Jan Southampton A - Draw
Sat 11 Jan Liverpool H - Loss
Sat 18 Jan Watford A - draw
Wed 22 Jan Norwich City H - win
February 2020
Sat 1 Feb Manchester City H - loss
Sat 8 Feb Aston Villa A - matches to be played 8 or 15 February - draw
Sat 22 Feb Chelsea A - loss
Sat 29 Feb Wolverhampton Wanderers H - draw
March 2020
Sat 7 Mar Burnley A - loss
Sat 14 Mar Manchester United H - draw
Sat 21 Mar West Ham United H - draw
April 2020
Sat 4 Apr Sheffield United A - loss
Sat 11 Apr Everton H - win
Sat 18 Apr A.F.C. Bournemouth A - draw
Sat 25 Apr Arsenal H - win
May 2020
Sat 2 May Newcastle United A - draw
Sat 9 May Leicester City H - draw
Sun 17 May Crystal Palace A - loss
Based on the above 26 games - i see us winning 4 games, drawing 11 and losing 11. Thats 23 points which takes us to 37 points in total. I'm not sure 37 will be enough. In the past when we have been close to getting relegated, we have brought back former strikers half way through the season to help us avoid the drop, not sure who that could be this time around.
