Sorry to post my own tweet but couldn’t be arsed to write it out again. In this space of time city will play Liverpool Chelsea x2 and Arsenal. Might have to change thread title ?

Why is the thread title not 'race for the title'.

We need to start acting like a big club.

Would love us to win every one of those games... a 12 game unbeaten run would set us up nicely for the rest of the season.

But one game at a time I suppose. We ready for the NLD...

A poster in one of threads, cant remember which, quipped he would rather take a loss than a draw and was slaughtered....... our current standings give credence to that belief.

We've lost 3, Chelsea have lost 1and we 2 points ahead. Its about winning a game rather than drawing it.

On another note voted 5th at the time and can honestly see us getting 2nd or 3rd on yesterday's showing.

'Unbeaten' is a horrible false term that doesn't tell the full story. It causes complacency with all assumed to be fine, because of this 'achievement'. We've been a victim a few seasons back and Chelsea have been this year.

A win and two defeats would get a manager slaughtered at the top end. Three draws and hes unbeaten, not a word said. 3 points either way.

I get what you're saying, but a draw against pool and Watford and we're 2nd

Sure...particularly the Liverpool game where Son should have had a penalty. Look to draw from a losing position always feels good. I'm just happy we aren't drawing games...yet. was it the season Leicester won that we drew 11 games, which had we converted a few into wins and the title was ours?

That Watford game was something else. I guess at the time it was the mood at the club. No signings, world cup fatigue &stadium delays etc etc.

Watching with an arsenal mate who hates us. He was well happy, "only two to go". Realised he only cared about the "invincibles" record.
Tbf even he liked sons goal.

Looks fairly promising but this overlooks that we’ll be playing twice a week now until New Year.

11 games in just over 5 weeks. Totally mental.

We’ll need to get players fit and use the squad cleverly. I’d always focus on the league but you just know Poch will be hammered if he rotates for the cup games.

We need to start spending like a big club.

No we don't.
Just beat Chelsea.
Man.Utd way behind us.
Build it don't buy it.
Be proud of our achievements.
City awash with dirty money.
How much has Luiz cost Chelsea?
or Jorginho (50 million) who was schooled
by Dele(5 million).
Never felt so involved with Spurs
in 50 years.
