Ramos only rates 6 players - ITK from COYS

Bale and Keane for certain, Berbatov because of class but with doubts over his work rate. King if including the injured. Dawson could be class with a bit of Ramos telling him to be more disciplined. Lennon. Bent suits his style of play and I can see him featuring more.

Although he's admired Chimbo in the past and will in time sort him out i'd be hard pressed to call him untouchable on recent performances.

Teemu, Malbranque, Lee, Rocha, Defoe and Jenas are all decent enough to stay, but not good enough to be untouchables. I can definitely see Jenas improving in Ramos' system but I can also see him flopping. KPB, Hudd, Taarabt and Kaboul are all far too raw and I think he'll use them very limitedly for a while.

No but they'll run with it tomorrow.

True.

And ANYWAY, if Ramos has decided he has 6 'untouchables', then I would imagine they are the one's that will play more often than not, but I cannot see us having a major clearout under ANY circumstances.

IMO i think lennon has done well since he's come back, OK he's not the player we loved and adored last year but he's getting there. He's certainly been the pick of my midfield this season so far. It is my opinion after all, rightly or wrongly, we're here to agree and disagree.

Similar to berbie this year, the oppo have worked out how to play him and you rarely see him now without two players around him. On saturday hardly anything came down Boro's left because their two lefties were far too concerned with marking Lennon. Which is where Chimbomba should have come into it as he should have exploited the space.

good response, but i still think that his passion and drive are enough to keep him in the side, especially when we have so little passion amongst our midfield.

He might not fit exactly, but from what i've seen Ramos will have the entire team on new assignments, getting used to an entirely new system, so there's nothing to say he won't become our super-sub attacking midfielder for when we need some drive, at least until one of our youngsters steps up.

I don't know who Ramos will pick, but at the moment i'd go for players who look like they want it, not players with reps who expect it.

Until the transfer window opens, I agree he'd be stupid not to go for the players who are showing some hunger and passion, and there's no doubt Steed is currently one of those.

But ultimately I'm pretty sure Ramos will want to impose his favoured tactical system, and if he can get £4-5 million for Malbranque and add it to his kitty for buying players who do fit his system, I suspect this is what he'll do.

Whereas Chimbonda and Lennon are perfect fits for Ramos' system. Indeed, Chimbonda is far better suited for the EPL than Dani Alves, who is so poor in the air that he'd be a sitting duck for teams who play like Bolton. The only issue with Chimbo and Lennon is whether Ramos can get them to play at their very best. Given the level of performance he got out of Kanoute, I very much hope he can get Chimbo and Lennon back to their best form.

:rofl::rofl:

he been gone inside 2 years, either 1 he fails, or 2 he's a success and goes to a top team

But if he succeeds then surely that can only mean that we are a top team ?... How could he leave us as a success otherwise ?

What a load of crap. So a guy with a bionic ear overheard this conversation - well it would have to be, as i doubt anyone could get this close so as to hear a conversation of this nature.

Its just that he believes 6 players will automatically be picked, 5 places are up for grabs. Nothing out of the ordinary really is it?

I'm not trying to be controversial here but I'm surprised that no-one has suggested Zokora actually might fit in with Ramos's ethos. High energy, efficient give and go passing, consistant performance level and can get up and down. I don't think Jenas would be far off either (where jenas would need to cut out the silly errors on the passing side Zokora could improve his ball winning). Before eveyone jumps on my back, I'm still not saying he's fucking wonder bread, but his game is fairly near to the mark of what Ramos looks for in his CM's. From the little I've seen of KPB he could well fit the bill too. I know this again going to sound controversial but in some ways Ramos reminds me a little of a modern day George Graham - in a good way. That formulaic way of everybody knowing exactly what their job is,being solid first but attacking with purpose, playing high tempo, pressing the ball. I know we all liked to call his sides boring but the truth is they were fucking efficient and played better football than were given credit for.

Personally I think the ITk is bollocks. Even if it wasn't, it's hardly earth shattering revalaltion is it. To be honest I'd be disapointed if it was as much as 6 players he thought were untouchable as I don't think thre is such a thing where we are. Personally I can think of a player I'd rather have for just about every position on the park in our side. But the reality of replacing and upgrading what we have is another thing altogether. As ever.

And just a footnote. I wish people would stop fucking bleating about kelmsley. You actually haven't got a fucking clue if a dicky bird came from him. For all you know he is sound bloke who's done nothing but good for the club.
And it's a bit rich moaning even if he did. We spend half our lives on here wanking each other off over every titbit of ITK only then to castigate someone for alledgedly supplying it.
Has anybody actually got any evidence that kelmsley has fed the press anything or that even if he has he wasn't just following instructions and doing what he thought was best for the club. Why hasn't John Alexander copped any flack whatsoever. Because he isn't a some toe rag done good with a 5 min slot on Your fired ? Not that either of them deserve any flack. They were conducted spurs business for the club. Not off on a jolly in spain on their own whim.

Well BC you have to take into account that Kemsley is a Fat Jew and therfore an obvious target. Before anyone has a pop at me for being racialist let me tell you that I am Jewish and proud of it ,its just that I detect a nasty undertone in these Kemsley attacks.

Not to disagree (because I don't, I agree that Ramos could do Zokora a great service + I also agree that ITKs get slated far too much hence their non-existence here) but there is a lot of general understanding through both people who are ITKs and others who have stumbled across information that a lot of it was from PK shooting his mouth off.

Saying that, any number of us Spurs fans would do the same. If you found out we were talking to Southampton about Bale, we'd all spunk ourselves and tell all our Spurs mates - so I don't say he's bad for doing that [because it kept me entertained in the Windows at least!] - but the point stands that a lot of stuff did come from him or via him.

John Alexander gets away from it all for that exact reason, he's our company sec who stays away from the limelight - and with a grand Company Secretary title, people don't mess. And it's all about first impressions - if you see this Kemsley chap being a bit of a East-End Wide-Boy Property Chancer and acting like the 'nuts' then chances are you are naturally going to take a dislike to him.

However - what we definitely don't know is under whose instruction it was to go to Spain. Whether it was Levy sent, or whether it was PK going of his own accord - we'll never know.

I agree with the sentiment though BC, I just thought I'd add my tuppence.

Personally I couldn't care what religion he is, or the fact that he's not a size zero. On the plus side, he's a Tottenham fan. On the down side, he strikes me as a cross between a Peter Ridsdale and Eggert Magnusson type character. But I don't know him, so will not slag him off.

Given that most of us are proud of our Jewish tradition/history it would surprise me massively if PK is being singled out because of that.
