I don’t normally vote for the goal scorer as it’s too obvious. But Dele has a fantastic game. The assist, the goal, the calmness under pressure, the poise from the bottle and what clinched it was the trolling that led to the booking. Gazzaniga close but could have cost us because if his dilly dally

We may look back
on this decade 2015/2025
as a Golden Age.

Dele(8+) Star man MOM. Love that boy.
With a full supporting cast.
3 assists for HK(8) in 3 games.
Gazzaniga (8) more than solid.
Toby (8) unruffled
Davies ((7+) Better there than exposed on the flank.
Trippier (7+) Played well clearly under orders not to roam too often.
Sissoko (7) Worked hard but lack of quality exposed at times
Winks (7) overplayed at times and caught on the ball. Busy though
Eriksen(7+) Did enough. If he could tackle he wouldn't be Eriksen.
Son (7+)Mr. Cool.
Rose (7+) Getting back to form again
Moura (6) Calm down calm down.

Controlled performance though they had chances.
Could be Burton in the final.

Didnt watch the match but i see 2 very different ratings for davies and trips...from being very good to being the weak points. Whys that?

Because we have fans who are too busy posting what a shit player someone is rather than Watching.

Davies played LCB and had a cool calm game.

Trips had an average game, but he was up against Iwobi who played really well. Luckily, Iwobi was subbed.

Dele is possibly the most underrated player in the league. Even though he is often valued at 150 mil in the Forbes list ( or some other high profile list) .
He’s going to win loads of trophies , just got to make sure it’s with us.
World class youngster . We’ve got so much going for us at the monent.
Unfortunately winning a domestic trophy means you have to beat a few of Europe’s ( yes Europe’s)best teams.
10 years ago Liverpool and us would have naturally picked up a couple of cups a piece.
Any other County I’m Europe we’d be winning lots of silverware .

Dele man of the match but Davies did better at centre back than he does at full back! Also Gazzaniga did well and both goals started with his quick goal kicks.
I've been quietly impressed with Davies over the last two games. He's looked quite comfortable playing alongside Toby. It's not like we were playing their reserve team today. They put out a good side, and he defended well. He just about gets my MoM, as he did very well, playing outta position against a tough opponent.

This is a great development for Pochetino. Gives him another option at CB and playing a back 3. Wonder if that'll alter their TW approach in the summer? Would like to see Davies play a few more games in that position.

All played their part, no weak links.

I'm gonna give Davies some love in an unfamiliar role against the "lethal" Aubamayang :poop: (who had about five touches in the game)

Gazzaniga 9 - 2 great saves, involved in both goals.
Trippier 6
Toby 8.5
Davies 8 better as cb than lb at the moment
Rose 7.5
Winks 6
Sissoko 7
Moura 6 not friends with ball tonight but never stopped trying and worked hard.
Son 8
Dele 9
Eriksen 6

Kane 8
Lamela NET

Poch 9

Moss negative 100
You did my job for me!! Exactly how I would've rated them tonight. Though maybe I'd have Winks at a 7. He wasn't great in the 1st half, but got better in the 2nd I thought. Also completely agree about Moura and Eriksen. Both did well, but given their standards, there was a few times they struggled either with a good first touch (Moura) or getting stuck in (Eriksen). But their version of an average game is still much better than most.

It was a very impressive collective performance by the whole team tonight. Which I'm sure will delight Poch!!

Gazzaniga made a great stop at 1-0 to redeem a bad piece of distribution shortly beforehand and overall looked agile and authoritative.

Trippier did well against a tricky opponent, can’t remrmber much danger conceded down his side and showed tenacity on several occasions, including sometimes to redeem his own error.

Alderweireld was composed, won most things that came his way and mopped up anything in behind.

Davies looked good, largely untroubke by Aubameyang and got the ball out well with nice passing out of defence.

Rose was a good threat going forward and showed aggression to protect his flank, standing up well to most things that came his way.

Sissoko tracked back well, broke forward well and passed cleverly. His final third nosebleeds continued with one awful shot and another awful cross.

Winks was brave receiving the ball in tight areas and recycled possession well. Lost possession a couple of times but overall he contributed to our controlling of how the game unfolded.

Lucas was quiet, with a lot of endeavour to try to unlock Arsenal but little coming off. Great tackle to stop Mikhitaryan though.

Dele was splendid, scored a beauty, made one beautifully, fought back, probed forward, and sound the scum up with his sheer arrogance. Man of the match.

Eriksen was very good, nice varied passing and made himself available all over the pitch. I imagine his heat map would resemble that of two players in most sides, and everytine he got the ball he gave Arsenal cause for concern.

Son had a good game, lovely finish for the opener and his pace and direct running was vital and keep Arsenal on the back foot.

Kane came on, win us the match with a Hoddle like turn and pass with one of his first touches, held the ball up well, passed well and ensured Arsenal had no opportunity to get into a rhythm.

Lamela came on and harried a bit.

Great night! Once again a top team performance with some outstanding players. Rose is looking so good now that he is fit again, both in attack and defence. Have to give it though to Dele who led our front foot assault.Once again Dele shows his class and footballing maturity

Just watched the highlights. Superb goals from both son and dele. Dele's especially. That calmness to flick the ball over the keeper from the outside of his foot...marvellous confidence for a very young man.

And Gazza made some very brilliant saves as well.

That was a comprehensively good performance, across the whole team. Everyone played their part in a difficult away fixture.

Dele Alli was the obvious man of the match, because his moments of inspiration made the difference between a draw and a win and because he also did his job as a team member

Gazzaniga 7 He's a confident, capable keeper now. One episode of bad judgment, amplified by Davies' fluff. Some fine saves and claims.

Trippier 6.5 A lot of threatening play and some good crosses, with broadly competent defensive work as well despite having little cover on his side.

Alderweireld 7.5 The kind of senior performance we have come to expect

Davies 7.5 As good as Toby, calm and showing great judgment. You could tell he's played many times as a central defender, but you couldn't tell that it's always been as part of a back three.

Rose 7.5 A proper captain's performance. Back to his best tonight.

Winks 7 Knitting everything together in an all-round midfield anchor performance.

Sissoko 7 The same Sissoko we've been seeing for the past couple of months, confident and aggressive. Pity he can't shoot. If people haven't agreed with what I've been writing recently about his off-the-ball work and positioning, watch the match again. He shows exactly what I've been going on about, throughout the match: always in the road, whenever Arsenal attacked.

Moura 7 I posted at half time that Lucas' defensive and off-the-ball work has become reliable and admirable; he's a proper team player now in the Pochettino style, not a luxury attacker.

Son 7.5 A fine goal well taken and a lot of good running.

Dele 8.5 Everything you want from Dele. Good team play and decisive moments of inspiration. The pass. The finish. Sublime. MotM.

Eriksen 6.5 Quietly effective. Nothing flash, but if Eriksen doesn't play like that, we don't get that result.

Kane 6.5 Solid hold up play and canny gamesmanship.

Lamela 6.5 Did a job. More combative than Son, whom he replaced.

That Lucas Moura tackle on Mikhtarian on the edge of the box personified the performance today. Blood & guts performance that rounds off an excellent week!

Some people watched the game, and gave corresponding marks, others didn't or gave marks based on their personal preference :D

Would also add re Sissoko his stride seems to be twice that of any other player, he covers ground so quickly and effortlessly which is a massive asset. It’s strange cos I don’t think he’s particularly tall? His passing has improved too, shame about the shooting though..

I feel like I've said this several times over the last three or four years, but it's such a reversal of how things used to be. Once upon a time it was us who were the plucky guys who'd occasionally raise our game at home to beat Arsenal (and celebrate extravagantly) only to be outclassed when it really mattered. Once upon a time we'd start games against Arsenal going like the clappers, they'd ride out the storm and then pick us off. Not any more.

Gazzaniga looks good, yeah a mistake here and there... but i am gonna give him the credit for both goals. he started it with a long ball out of goal, the accuracy was fantastic. both times he started a quick counter with a long ball... something that Lloris seldom does and it carved arsenal open.
