Dele my MOTM - Thought he was very decent, his off the ball work effort was great today, interceptions, winning the ball back and even helping tin def positions to win the ball back... he did tire but that will come with more game time fitness. (PS was good going forward too and i do think he should be credited with the goal, his touch was vital and ball was going in the net anyway and barley deviated much by the touch of their defender)

D'oherty - he is just sooooooo poor its beyond belief

Lloris 7 - done what he could

Doherty 2 - I would rather ken dodd play right back

Sanchez 8 - 2 goal saving tackles and did well many a time, I'm not going to blame him for the handball

Alderweireld 9 - looks so more confident with Sanchez is pace next to him

Davies 6 - just does what Davies does

N’dombele 4 - poor didn’t assert himself on the game

Hojbjberg 9 - 7 of that comes for his first half display second half we lost the midfield

Bale 6 - huffed and puffed worked hard but not his best

Son - see above

Kane 2 - looked awful heavy on his feet slow of thought just looked tired and a bit I’ll just not himself

Sissoko 2 - awful

Pamela 8 - won us the game changed the momentum

Lucas 1 - awful

Best players on the pitch were

Andersen at center half he looked immense!! Pocketed Harry.

Reed - dominated our midfield with tenacity and head up play reminded me of what winks used to be

Loftus Cheek bullied us

I thought we were very good in the first half, should have had 2 or 3. 2nd half we didn't seem to press as much and got lucky with the goal being disallowed, but I'll take it! Seems like a long time ago that we had back to back wins

Said it once... will say it til I’m blue in the face... we should go for Andersen this summer. Not sure what the story is behind his loan from Lyon... as he is clearly very good. Likely better than what they have. So, would love to know what’s going on with him. Would be the ideal replacement for Toby.

Dele my MOTM. Thought Sanchez defended well for the most part. Thought Fulham for the first 15 mins and the second half totally outplayed us - lucky they haven't got a decent CF!

Lloris - 7
Doherty - 5
Sanchez - 7.5
Toby - 7.5
Davies - 6.5
Højbjerg - 7
Ndombele - 7
Dele - 7.5
Bale - 7
Son - 7 - mainly for effort
Kane - 6 - missed two chances he'd normally score.

Lamela - 8 - Very good when he came on.
Moura - 5 - We were a lot weaker down the right once he came on and he hardly touched the ball either.
Sissoko - 7 - Added some strength to the middle.

Slightly concerning that some of our key players look 'leggy'. Also concerning we were largely outplayed by an inferior team. Overall though a very valuable away victory and clean sheet, and we easily could have scored two or three goals.

Poor clearence for their ‘goal’.
Agree with this, which tipped my vote in favour of Toby who was equally solid but without any mistakes.
could have voted for either of Hugo or Dave which is a rarity to have our best three players in those positions.
first half our front four (six if you include Ndombele and Hojbjerg) were simply bossing it. Need to kill these games off in the first half a la Burnley.

second half the tiredness really took over. We stopped pressing and allowed Andersen and Reed much more time on the ball.
Got a long overdue favour from var (let’s cancel out the Newcastle pen)

positives.
centre back pair starting to gel.
hugo came off his line a bit
we rested our first choice full backs and kept a clean sheet
Saw what our front four are capable of together
We got three points
Lamela passed it first time
Ben Davies isn’t our scapegoat anymore (for a week maybe)

“if you can’t be good, be lucky”

I don’t get people giving subs an 8. Really boils my piss lamela. Did barely fuck all and gets an 8’ come on.
Did barely fuck all? He was, by far, our best player once he came on. He single handedly changed the momentum of the game and moved us 50 yards up the pitch. I had zero confidence we were going to hold on until he arrived and we held on easily once he did, and he created chances to kill the game as well. He was my MOTM. Your piss can keep boiling :)

We must have watched a different game then. Lamela worked harder than anyone other than maybe Dele, set up some really good attacks with very skillful play and pressed like his life depended on it.

No he didn’t. And he wasn’t an 8. Unless it’s a sliding scale that everyone starts On 10 and goes down. Point for every 10 minutes they do something wrong. Pathetic. Yeah he done alright. But he was a 6. He created no chances. Had no shots on target. And made no key passes. So what did he get an 8 for. Running abaaat a bit??

It is all about opinions, but I definitely have a very different one to yours.

He was on for 10 minutes. Check the ratings. Totally skewed. Sorry. No matter how some of the other players played. Most of them gave 70-90 minutes. And you give Lamela and 8.

Gave it to Sanchez (2 in a row). Hope he carries on with his good form and builds on it.

So now you’re onto being just plain wrong. No key passes, apart from creating the clearest chance of the entire game when he put Kane through 1:1? He got an 8 for that, and for totally changing the momentum of the match with his energy and pressing. He probably saved us 2 points, because we didn’t look like hanging on until he got on the pitch. I’d take an outstanding contribution for 20 minutes over a mediocre one for 90

Lamela saved the game for us. Sanchez excellent.

Odd game. Fulham should have been 2-0 up after 15. But then when they didn't score, we should have been 3-0 up at half time. Then when that didn't happen, they should have been 2-1 up at full time. None of that happened and we won 1-0. We didn't deserve to though.
