Sissoko all day long. Mendy and Walker came a close second.

Not a bad performance but not great either. The pundits thought we would get humiliated before the game but we almost get an equalizer. Lamela has to score that one

Has to go to Sanchez for me as he was on it all game snuffing out most threats. An honourable mention for Lamela, for Sissoko and for Dele as well as Winks when they came on. Many had decent games but Sissoko with the inability to play the final ball sums us up at the moment. We flatter to deceive ultimately having little end product for all the pace, power, athleticism and sometimes flair

Easily Sissoko. Just such a pity he couldnt pick out someone in the first half but he deserves a run in the team now.
You could also say, just a pity he’s a terrible footballer that can barely pass the ball.

I mean, that corner he conceded. That was embarrassing. His control is laughable. He’s nowhere near good enough. Nowhere near.

Lloris 5.5 Sloppy clearance almost led to a goal

Trippier 5 Bad mistake for goal and not his usual attacking threat
Sanchez 7 The Sanchez of last season, handled their pace well
Tony 8 Solid
Davies 6 Tried but not enough pace to cause them problems

Sissoko 8 Great atracking and defensive runs, lacked an end product
Dembele 7 Some good tackles and strong
Dier 6 Little impact on the game

Lamela 6 Found space well but missed a glorious chance and could've done better when in good positions
Moura 6 worked hard but rarely troubled Walker

Kane 7 great hold up play at times but should have taken his chance

Subs
Winks 8 MOTM Great driving runs, made more impact than Dier in half the time
Alli 7 Worked hard and gave us more end product in final third
Eriksen 6 Looked off the pace
Generally speaking agree with this... but I think you're being a smidge generous to Kane. I would've had him more as a 6 or even a 5. Great call on Winks, BTW. He was really really good tonight.

If we're appraising his performance tonight, it was good. Not perfect by any stretch but a good performance.

Most people would agree with that.

For him, yes, maybe. Because we know his usual level of performance is laughable. A 3 out of 10 player putting in a 6 out of 10 performance still isn’t good enough. His best will still be average at best. We must be ruthless with players like this. All successful clubs are, so why can’t we?

He played well tonight. Yes we know he hasn't been good enough up until now, but perhaps he's turning a corner. He gave it everything, I'm behind him if that's his commitment level every week.

I’d much rather a bad player with a good attitude than a good player with a bad one. Attitude is everything. I appreciate that.

However, he’s honestly past hope. He’d be a really good person to have around the squad if it just wasn’t football we were playing.

Well, he's here for the season anyway. Get behind him.

No. He’s not good enough. He’s getting paid fuck loads of money by the Club. I’m not. If they start paying me about 70k a week to blindly support him, I will. Until then, I’ll call it how I see it. He’s crap and he shouldn’t be with us.

What is he even doing here in the first place? More ineptness from the people in charge of the Club. £30m completely wasted. We won’t be ruthless, accept the fuck up. We will try and milk it to somehow get our moneys worth. At what cost?

What frustrates me with Davies, he offers nothing going forward, struggling to remember how many times he offers himself wide to put a cross in

MotM Sissoko.

His best performance for us by far (maybe bad touches were levelled out by dodgy pitch ;) )

Notable mention.

Winks, growing in confidence with every game, and on a pitch where other players touches had been hit and miss (see Kane, Lamela, Dembele, Sanchez, Moura, Alli) he came on and just played like it was a bowling green, and drove us forward with his passing and carrying the ball. Should be starting every game he's' fit now.

The fact you think his performance today was actually good shows how bad he really is. It was good for him because his bar is set so low. Nothing I have said is not true. Ask any other supporter of any other club what they think of him. He’s a joke.

Another completely bang average player, and that’s being kind.

Debatable whether or not he’s even Premier League standard, never mind playing for a team with aspirations of winning the thing.

We need to cut him loose, but we won’t. And he will be bang average again next season. And the season after that.

As I’ve said before, it’s unfair on some of the actual good players we have. They shouldn’t have to carry players that are clearly not up to where we want to be.

Toby Alderweireld often has to do all the defending. Literally the defending for 3 players. No wonder he wanted to fuck off. How could you blame him?

Sissoko easily. Was an immense performance. The type of play we signed him for and he’s only ever produced against us and for France.

Such a shame he’s no good in the final third. But his fight and drive was first class tonight.

The right back who most successfully fucked up City’s attack tonight was Walker, so I thank him for that.

I think people underestimate what sissoko brings. But clearly managers don’t. You just don’t get over 50 caps for France if you bring nothing to the team. I think I saw he was the 2nd quickest player in PL last season. It’s what he brings in the transition. If he gets us up the pitch quickly then he is doing a decent job.
