Definitely Winks today. Thought it was another excellent performance from Sanchez though. Some fans have questioned him recently, only 22, he’s gonna be an absolute star of a CB.

It was between Winks and Son for me but given the ridiculous season Son has had with the number of games he played, he could put in less effort but still he is giving 100% and constantly probing, and again gets the important goal.

Have to say I don't think we were bad. I thought we were good. Newcastle set up to sit back and did it very well but we got the cross bar, two off the line and Lucas should have scored.

Lascalles I thought was MoM. Potential Toby replacement?

Winks magnificent today, Sanchez had a good game. Eriksen got better and better as the match progressed. Sonny was terrific, he must be exhausted.

Verts had a cracking first half at left back and Llorente would very likely had a few goals from those crosses if he was on the pitch then. Winks and Lamela were great. Though Sanchez did well at the back. Eriksen really lacking intent and drive. Lamela I thought was good and unlucky to go off.

Not poor exactly. Just the typical game when he starts really, at lot of running but doesn't really contribute much to build up, chance creation etc

It was the usual weird tactics. Few crosses to Llorente but plenty to Lucas. We just didn't play to his strengths and Newcastle sitting deep meant be had little space to move

Meh he was playing striker against a Newcastle team parking the bus. He missed a sitter of a header and one that was a lot harder but I didn't think he was shocking in general.
