Lloris 8 - good distribution, some decent saves, off his line in a flash.
Walker 7 - a very composed performance, defended well and got forward a fair bit ... still needs to work on his crossing.
Dawson 5 - awful in the 1st but improved a lot in the 2nd, well until he went walkabout and in tandem with Rose, gifted Swansea a goal.
Chiriches 8 - excellent, oozing confidence. Can't wait to see him partnered with a quality defender in Verts or Kaboom.
Rose 5 - horrid, not good enough and so bloody immature. Picked up a stupid yellow card, poor passing, rubbish crosses, awful clearance, which lead to their goal ... looks no better than Naughton was at left back. Yes he set up a goal but the rest of his game was p*ss poor.
Dembele 5 - he's supposed to be the experienced leader, not Bentaleb. He made a couple of mazy runs but he vanishes into an abyss the way Dempsey used too. His decision making/effort of goal was pathetic. He'll be back on the bench when Paulinho returns.
Bentaleb 7 - decent game, breaking up play, some nice passing ... nothing Earth shattering but he showed loads of enthusiasm and made Dembele look like the inexperienced central midfielder.
Lennon 6 - meh, not good enough ... no end product.
Chadli 5 - looks low on confidence but things won't improve until he ups his game.
Eriksen 9 - outstanding ... the gulf in class between him and Lennon was ridiculous. Excellent 1st touch, skilful, great vision, can cross and shoot. Plus he was involved in 99% of our attacks and worked extremely hard for the team.
Adebayor 10 - MOM, 2 very well taken goals, excellent hold up play, he was everywhere today.

Sig 4 - 2 powder puff efforts at goal. He's got no pace, can't beat his man and for a big bloke he's a puff/can't hold the ball up ... a waste of a place in our squad. Chadli, Lamela, Townsend are all way better players than Sig.
Naughton 6 - defended well and looked comfortable.

Lloris 7 - Didn't have to do much, but made a few good saves. Couldn't do anything about the goal.

Walker 7.5- Impressive performance again. Solid defensively, but his attacking work rate was excellent. Never gave up, even though some of his crosses were a little dodgy.
Dawson 6 - Dominated by Bony in first half, better in the second. Solid performance.
Chiriches - 7 - very comfortable, didn't get bullied, more composed than Dawson imo.
Rose 6 - Attacking was good but at fault for their goal, didn't do too much. Still need a great LB imo.

Dembele 7 - Very composed again, dominated in the middle again, good attacking and defending. Awful decision re the miss though, hence only a 7.
Eriksen 8.5 - Very very good, everything he did was correct. Does the simpmle things well and the scoop turn and the cross were divine. Class player, absolute bargain, starting to get used to the PL more now.
Bentaleb 7 - Very solid again, his passing was excellent, was very confident, calm and composed on the ball. Reminds me a bit of Paul Scholes. Star.

Lennon 5.5 - Might seem harsh but he lost the ball on multiple occasions and didn't do enough to warrant the same rating as Rose and Dawson. Ben Davies handled him very well.
Adebayor 9 - MOM for me. Everything he did was great. Very good finishing, held it up well, looks like he's back. Link up with Eriksen was very promising.
Chadli 5 - Proved why he hasn't been starting. Was poor again today, didn't really do anything, and should have scored a second goal.

Very good away performance.

Chiriches didn't get bullied?? I must have watched a different game. He got bullied at least 5 times in the 1st half if not more!!!

Most impressive performance in my opinion under Tim, and I felt he showed his talent as a manager. We looked very comfortable with and without the ball apart from the occasional brain farts that come with Spurs. Many have said on this forum Ade would bring the best out of a lot of our players, and today was a great example. Lennon wasn't at his best but the link play between all of our attack centred around Ade, they were all involved even Chadli, who at times has looked a passenger so far this season, but contributed today as did Lennon even though had his decision making been better we could have scored at least one more.

Weakest link looked to be Rose, some of his behaviour is petulant and his fitness looks poor. He needs to look at Walker, for every mistake Walker might make the guy busts his gut to make up for it, and he is improving. When Rose makes a mistake he just sits there or starts throwing his hands around which winds me up. The guys got potential, and looked so good at Sunderland, needs to replicate that form and improve his attitude or else fans will get on his back. I can forgive a player for a bad game, I can forgive him for mistakes, but fitness and attitude is a basic requirement in any sport which he seems to lack at the moment.

Great game by all everyone gets a 7 bar Rose who is a 6, Ade and Eriksen get 9 and a 8 respectively. Sherwood a 9 best start from a spurs manager, he can keep talking as much shit as he wants if he keeps this going. COYS time for revenge on City!!

Will do ratings later. Ade, Eriksen, Vlad were the big performers. Lloris good as well.

Think Ade will get my MOTM though. Two goals, held it up brilliantly....worked very hard for a good hour of the game. Even when we needed a little respite he held of that prick Chico brilliantly and earned a free kick.

A very big performance from Ade.

Lloris - 7 Nothing of great note today.
Walker - 6.5 Sort of brainless at times, but did some good things too.
Dawson - 7 No major issues today.
Chiriches - 7.5 Looked fairly good. A couple of mistakes but a couple of really impressive moments too.
Rose - 5 I loathe Rose since he returned. No effort on defense. Stupid booking. Why was he in central midfield all the time? Especially when we were playing an inverted winger on that side.
Lennon - 5.5 Good at running and not much else today
Dembele - 7 Decent, but not as good as some other recent performances
Bentaleb - 7 I actually thought he was fairly invisible for long stretches, but his stats look great
Chadli - 5.5 - A very Chadli performance
Eriksen - 9 Awesome performance. So many bits of skill and intelligence. Hopefully there is a youtube.
Adebayor - 9 Work rate, holdup, and ability to get in scoring positions immense. He is on fire.

Sigurdsson - 6 Not terribly involved
Naughton - 7 Not much time but done nothing wrong.

Sherwood - 8 Got it right by going one up top. If Lamela and Townsend really weren't available then he did very well. The Naughton for Lennon sub in particular was very good and not a completely standard one. It accomplished everything we wanted in a substitution at that point in the game. Not sure why he brought Siggy on though.

Lloris - 7. save what he could. But positioning could be better. Did his job.
Walker - 6. did some stupid stuff but defended well enough. Every time he cocks up a pass, he looks at everyone like it's their fault.
Dawson - 5. Bony owned him and could have have more than the one goal he scored. He can't defend against the big and strong strikers, he can't defend against the small and speedy ones, he can't defend against the fox in the box... So I don't know what else can he do.
Chiriches - 6. He takes way too many risks for my liking. A lot of their chances came from him charging up to midfield to try to win a ball back.
Rose - 7. Did well for the assist but pick up a really silly yellow.
Lennon - 6. Assisted in the own goal but his crosses to nobody can be frustrating.
Dembele - 7. Did ok, drifted pass players easily but often into crowded areas. Tried hard to impose himself in midfield.
Bentaleb - 7. Looked a little overwhelmed in the 1st 20 mins but grew into the game. Started to win tackles in the 2nd half and play some intelligent passes out of defence.
Chadli - 7. Ran at their defence abit, worked hard and got into a few good positions. Had a good chance which he should had done better.
Eriksen - 8. Did very well starts most of our attacks and kept our attacks flowing. Great cross for Ade. Very good game.
Adebayor - 9. 2 good goals. Everything good that happened today went through him. Work his ass off and brings players into the game. If he keeps this up, we are in the champs league.
The subs did ok but nothing worth a mention.

Tim - 8. For instiling belief in all our players. Well done!

Still played a big part on 3rd goal and has this season 3 goals at PL on 795 minutes whereas 3 you mentioned have at PL combined 1 goal in 1984 minutes (that's actually pretty piss poor and no fault of Lamela as minutes are mainly to Townsend and Chadli)

Lennon, Chadli and Siggy didnt show me anything of note. Eriksen and Ade were the 2 best players out there. Swansea were getting bitched by them 2. The back 4 did okay. Nothing to complain about.

Can we buy another winger? Please?

Sherwood got it right today. Gotta give credit where it is due. By the way, love the vest and tracksuit. Great look, IMO.

What is this now? 7 away wins? Great away form! Need it to spill over to the Lane!!!

Good performances all round, apart from Lennon lacking the end product, Chadli too conservative.

So is anyone else thinking 442 at home, 433 away should be our blueprint going forward?

Think the blueprint for Tim is all about players available and their form, that picks the XI and formation not the other way around.
