The hate on Chadli is laughable. He did his job well. Could have had some goals today if they'd pass to him on the break as well.
Who is Eriksen? Why is it so hard for our supporters to know the spelling of one of our players last name? It's Eriksen, not Erikson or Eriksson. It's not hard.
Something is really wrong with your reasoning if you can prefer Sigs to the likes of Townsend, Llamela & Co
you know that sigurdson was playing centrally when he came on right?
Why the Chadli hate when Lennon had a complete stinker?!
Completely ineffectual, wasteful in possession and for some strange reason kept drifting inside leaving no options out wide until Walker reached play.
The only good thing he did was the build up in the first goal - that's yer lot!
Dawson comes in for plenty of stick and I'm certainly no fan but he did well today bar the penalty non-decision and very much Chiriches who mopped up everything on the deck and was much better aerially than in previous games.
Eriksen and Adebayor the two standouts and both key cogs going forward in which we need to build our team around. Also credit again to Bentaleb who is proving a very useful member now and will undoubtedly come in handy when we have to juggle league and European matches.
because lennon at least occasionally contributes to our performances, chadli hasn't done anything and just looks like a nothing player.
He's a different player and needs a run of games in his preferred position to get his confidence up but he gets slated far too much for my liking.because lennon at least occasionally contributes to our performances, chadli hasn't done anything and just looks like a nothing player.
Dawson 7 - best game for a while despite that ludicrous decision to dive into a tackle just before our first goal
Great is a huge exaggeration mate - Adebayor has been great, Lennon has been at his inconsistent best.Lennon has been great recently, but today was not a good one for him.
Regarding Chadli, he did ok....just because someone doesn't stand out doesn't mean they havn't been competent - with their passing, positioning and work rate.
I think he needs a run of games, like the others, before we see the real deal.

Talismanic!I wasn't referring to the Arsenal game and first half against Palace which were poor team performances. I was referring more to the Stoke and United games, in which he was very good. So no, its not a huge exaggeration in terms of those games but overall you'd class it as inconsistent looking at the last couple of games, still thinks he gets a rough ride even when he does perform though.
Adebayor has been better than great, he's been exceptional under Sherwood overall.
Talismanic!
As long as we can keep him fit and motivated, he can be as informant for us finishing top 4 as Suarez is for Liverpool.
What's pleasing is that we are getting a strong supporting cast back with Vertonghen, Sandro, Paulinho and Townsend along with Eriksen who is really getting into a groove and can be our architect going forward. Was thinking exactly the same as soon as our game finished. He's key, without a doubt.
