"The Chairman" is the reason why we are bickering about whether we will finish 3rd or 6th...rather than 12th or in the relegation places...just to have a slightly longer term perspective.

On a related note, have got to laugh at those Chelski supporters whinging about Abromovich...memories are very damn short (or, I guess they were not Chelsea supporters 10 years ago). Without those roubles...how exactly would their trophy cabinet look ?

Alot of people rated the bye bye Bale thread dumb. I honestly think, had we got one of Negredo, Lisandro or Gomis we would most likely have finished 4th. Without that signing. I think Arsenal will take it, and therefore Bale will ask to leave when we miss out on CL.

They wouldn't have a trophy cabinet because they'd have gone out of business through bankruptcy. There'd be a chelsea 04 probably sharing Fulhams ground for their championship matches.
