Wonder what odds you'd get on spurs finishing top of the group the morning after the draw was made.

That was exhilarating.

So glad we held on and even a little disappointed we didn't get a second with the chances we had.

What football's all about though. Great to be playing CL in the Bernabeu and matching them for 90 mins.

Don't wanna be too harsh on Eriksen as he's been good this season, think it was just an off night for him. Maybe the slight tactical tweak of playing with 2 strikers had an effect on him, no idea but he weren't at the races today. Hopefully he's back to his best at the weekend.
I dont think he manages very well with playing numerous games over short periods. He seems to get jaded quite easily. The sooner we have Lamela back to rotate with him the better.

Impressive overall. If we factor in the youthfulness of Winks and Sanchez and how they played well on this stage, things look really good

This team could get serious influx of new fans in next couple of years with this style of football and results. Modric and Bale helped a lot, now it's on this generation. Even things like FIFA games will help a lot. There can't be almost anyone who hasn't heard of Harry Kane now.

What a fucking performance. Special mention for Winks and Vertonghen but there were stars all over the pitch. Didn't look out of place going head to head against Madrid. Almost off all the problems came from giving Modric too much space, I miss the little fucker he's world class. Really good point.

The result we needed and made even harder with so many first team players unavailable against the best team in the world.

Not quite sure what our tactics were but we had as many good chances as them, even if we had to rely on Hugo significantly.

All in all job done. Bring them on at Wembley.

Yep, assuming we win at home to Apoel that's 10 points meaning Dortmund have to win v us and Madrid in Madrid as well as Madrid beating us at Wembley, a lot has to go right for them and wrong from us from here on in for us to fail.
They also have to beat us with a better result than 3-1 if I'm not mistaken?
